Sven Niemeyer's Jazz Classes are particularly distinguished by his many years of work on stage, in front of the camera and as a choreographer for theater and film productions. He shares his experiences from more than 20 years with his students and optimally prepares them for the career as international stage professionals.

Dear friends,
Unfortunately we have to cancel our show next weekend. The last weeks were a race against time. Due to Corona many dancers were in quarantine and we tried to maintain our training with zoom. But the time was too short and additionally we have new positive tested dancers today.
We are looking forward to present you our work as soon as possible with all dancers on board and full of power and passion 💜.

Kurz darauf explodieren TänzerInnen zu dynamischen HipHop Rhythmen auf der Bühne, während
andere zu ausgesuchten, mitreißenden Popsongs mit kontrolliert zackigen Bewegungen das Publikum
begeistern. Auch durch die Neo-Klassische Choreographie zu den Klängen von Johann Pachelbel zieht
sich der rote Faden der Verschmelzung zwischen Musik und Bewegung.

Aesthetic lines, weightlessness, release, rhythmic isolations, floorwork, explosive energy and robotic movements.
The students at The DanceEmotion Academy demonstrate their versatility, through various choreographic styles.
A solo to Nina Simone's “Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood” explores gentle gestures with a cinematographic quality. Later, another contemporary choreography,
takes inspiration from the art work of Andy Goldsworthy. The Hip Hop choreography offers dynamic rhythms, and is then followed by exciting and fast paced jazz dance to up-beat pop songs. Pachelbel's cannon accompanies a neo-classical piece, delicately expressing the music through movement.
NEO Dance Company Freiburg showcase their sharp technique, with a keen sense of musicality, energy and a range of dynamics.

DanceEmotion Academy Staatlich anerkannte Berufsfachschule für Bühnentanz und Tanzpädagogik Die DanceEmotion Academy für tanz ist eine seit 2003 bestehende staatlich anerkannte Ausbildungsschule mit den Schwerpunkten Jazztanz, Contemporary und Klassisches Ballett. Seit 2004 ist die Ausbildung BaföG-berechtigt. Neben den drei Schwerpunktbereichen werden die Auszubildenden in den Tanzstilen HipHop, Musical Jazz, Step, Improvisation, Partnerarbeit sowie in Gesang und Schauspiel unterrichtet. Theoretische Unterrichtsfächer sind Tanzgeschichte, Anatomie und Musiktheorie. Es kann zwischen den Ausbildungsgängen Bühnentanz und Tanzpädagogik gewählt werden. In der Vielfältigkeit der Unterrichtsfächer liegt das Besondere der freiburger akademie für tanz begründet. Sie eröffnet den Auszubildenden ein breites berufliches Wirkungsfeld und ermöglicht gleichzeitig die individuelle Förderung besonderer tänzerischer Neigungen und Begabungen. Wir suchen für eine Veranstaltung ("Artistic Live Performance Cabaret") in Wien am 9. Juli noch Akteure mit Akrobatik, Breakdance, Pantomime oder Zirkus Erfahrung. Jedoch sind auch Tänzer diverser anderer Stilrichtungen willkommen, wenn diese eine ausdrucksvolle Präsenz mit sich bringen. Performance wäre 30 min. lang und die Akteure dürfen auch improvisieren. Bei Interesse kontaktieren sie mich und ich informiere sie gerne über weitere Details.

Johannes absolvierte seine Tanzausbildung im Sommer 2013 an der DanceEmotion Academy und bildete sich bei einem mehrmonatigen Aufenthalt in New York weiter. Er war vier Jahre lang als Company-Tänzer und Darsteller in kleinen Schauspielrollen am Stadttheater Pforzheim aktiv, wo er 2019 den Rotary-Club Publikumspreis gewann.
Neben seiner aktuellen Tätigkeit als Tänzer und Performer in Projekten, die sich unter anderem mit Improvisation/Instant Composition, Tanzvermittlung und Mixed Abilities beschäftigen, unterrichtet Johannes Blattner deutschlandweit an zahlreichen Tanzschulen und leitet Weiterbildungen für Theaterschaffende.
Darüber hinaus ist Johannes als Choreograf tätig: Mit seinen Solo „Vanis h i n g A c t“ wurde er zum „Stuttgart Solo Choreo 2020“-Abend im Rahmen des 24. Internationales Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival 2020 sowie zur „Reihe 23“ im Landesmuseum Württemberg eingeladen. Er choreografierte für das Theater Pforzheim und das cala_theater in Freiburg, welches er auch regelmäßig in Regiefragen berät.
