Unfolding is a dance theatre project that explores inner tension and its potential to become a catalyst for change.

We live in a time marked by polarization, uncertainty, acceleration, and increasing social isolation. People are often expected to appear strong, productive, and certain, while many experience anxiety, insecurity, and difficulty maintaining meaningful connections.

In this context, care is usually understood as something directed toward others. Unfolding asks an additional question: How can we care for others if we struggle to acknowledge what is happening within ourselves?

The performance approaches care as a practice of recognition. By engaging with vulnerability, contradiction, and uncertainty rather than avoiding them, people may become more capable of genuine connection.
