„Blue Waves“ was inspired by the feeling of stepping into a new chapter. Nylon guitar, felt piano, bass and self-recorded nature ambience form the core of the track.

Zycix is the project of Gothenburg-based producer Leo Jalin, while forever dreaming is the solo project of Austrian producer Tobi. Both build much of their music around guitars and organic instrumentation. „Blue Waves“ brings their approaches together once again.

JazzyHan has been working with Oiyo for several years, with a steady run of releases that has made him a familiar part of the label catalog. „Looking for Shade“ continues that collaboration with a new jazzy beat built around the producer’s own experience and everyday surroundings.

dmsco. is a producer duo combining jazz-influenced beatmaking with modern lo-fi production. Their music centers around soulful chord progressions, organic instrumentation and vintage textures, with influences rooted in jazz and classic instrumental hip-hop.

Frankfurt beatmaker seisdrum makes instrumental hip hop that shifts between smooth and energetic. His beats draw from jazz and soul alongside 90s video game soundtracks and psychedelic rock. Part of Oiyo since winning the 2022 BLEND Festival Live Producer Battle, his sound has been closely connected to the label ever since.

„Point of No Return“ started during a remote session between RINZ. and Jost Esser. When they later returned to the track, the session files had become corrupted. Instead of rebuilding it, they kept the original version and the accident ended up giving the track its name.

RINZ. is a Dutch producer whose instrumental work draws from jazz and hip-hop, with guitars and organic textures playing a central role. Together with Jost Esser, „Point of No Return“ combines jazzy chords, guitar melodies, piano and trumpet with a classic hip-hop groove.

„passengers“ takes a stripped-back approach, pairing a soft melodic loop with saturated, crushed textures. The track draws on the quiet anonymity of everyday journeys on public transportation.

French producer Fleaureque and Yusuf Gökcül bring together their respective approaches to beatmaking for a joint project built around jazzy loops, dusty drums and subtle boom bap influences. Created with FL Studio and the SP-404, the four tracks follow the idea of an urban journey from „night bus“ to „last stop“.

„Noriki“ takes its name from the Japanese word for „enthusiastic“ or „motivated“ and was inspired by Takeshi Kitano’s „A Scene at the Sea“. Piano and Rhodes melodies meet boom bap drums, strings and bass before the track closes with a guitar solo.

Choco.bear is the multi-instrumental project of Russian producer Andrey Drozdov, who has been active since 2009. His sample-based productions draw from jazz, soul, funk and cinema alongside years of involvement in hip-hop and collaborations with local beatmakers and rap artists. „Doldrums“ brings these influences together across a full-length project.
