Die Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company ist ein Ensemble für zeitgenössisches Ballett auf höchstem Niveau unter der künstlerischen Leitung des Choreographen Jacopo Godani. Die Company entwickelt, präsentiert und vermittelt Tanz mit dem Ziel, Menschen zu verbinden, zu inspirieren und für Tanz zu begeistern. Sie ist an ihren beiden Residenzspielorten HELLERAU – Europäisches Zentrum der Künste in Dresden

und dem Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main zu Hause und geht als international gefragtes Ensemble auf Gastspielreisen. ENGLISH:

The Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company is a contemporary dance ensemble of the highest standard under the artistic direction of choreographer Jacopo Godani. The company develops, presents and communicates dance with the goal of connecting people, inspiring them and increasing their enthusiasm for dance. It is the company-in-residence at two performance venues, HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts in Dresden and Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main. As an internationally celebrated ensemble, it also gives guest performances around the world.

Take a look at what our performance and exhibition looked like during the .
The company performed ONE ONE ONE, where each dance is shaped through direct eye contact between the performer and one audience member seated on a chair. Once the gaze is broken, the performance ends. From the youngest audience members to the oldest, everyone could enjoy a personal performance.
In the foyer of the Bockenheimer Depot, we also exhibited video material from our past choreographies and used dancing shoes.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for this wonderful evening, it wouldn’t have been possible without you! 🫶

Hier gibt es einen kleinen Einblick, wie unsere Performance und Ausstellung während der aussahen.
Die Company zeigte ONE ONE ONE, diese Performance entsteht durch direkten Blickkontakt zwischen Tänzer*in und einem auf einem Stuhl sitzenden Gast. Sobald der Blick abbricht, endet der Tanz. Von den jüngsten bis zu den ältesten Besucher*innen konnte jede*r eine ganz persönliche Performance erleben.
Im Foyer des Bockenheimer Depots zeigten wir außerdem Videomaterial aus vergangenen Choreografien sowie getragene Tanzschuhe.
Vielen Dank an alle, die diesen wunderbaren Abend mit uns verbracht haben, ohne euch wäre er nicht möglich gewesen! 🫶

Last weekend, we took part in Frankfurt’s Night of Museums at the Bockenheimer Depot, presenting an exhibition and ONE ONE ONE. Letztes Wochenende waren wir mit einer Ausstellung und ONE ONE ONE am Bockenheimer Depot Teil der Nacht der Museen Frankfurt. Danke an alle, die gekommen sind, Platz auf einem Stuhl genommen haben und damit selbst Teil der Performance wurden. Danke a die , dass wir dabei sein konnten. Es war uns eine große Freude! 💜

In dem Kinderstück PIZZICATO wird ein Fest der kleinen, aber feinen Dinge gefeiert: Alltägliche Bewegungen verwandeln sich in Tanz und laden Kinder dazu ein, auf Entdeckungsreise zu gehen.
Schubladen werden zu Schatzkisten, Klänge zu Bewegungen, und plötzlich wird Musik nicht nur gehört, sondern auch gespürt. Tanz wird nicht nur gesehen, sondern mit dem ganzen Körper erlebt. 🌟

In the children’s piece PIZZICATO, a celebration of small yet precious things unfolds: everyday movements transform into dance, inviting children to embark on a journey of discovery.
Drawers turn into treasure chests, sounds become movement—and suddenly music is not only heard, but felt. Dance is not only seen, but experienced with the whole body. 🌟
