Ready to pop the champagne?! 🥂

Today GALERIE LEUENROTH celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special exhibition spanning two decades of artistic vision. Bringing together one early work from 2006 and one new work from 2026 by each artist, the exhibition offers a unique journey through the gallery’s history and evolution.

By placing works created twenty years apart in dialogue, the presentation highlights both the continuity and transformation of artistic practices across two decades.

A true fixture of Frankfurt’s art scene, the GALERIE LEUENROTH has been located on Freßgass since 2006, creating meaningful encounters through art and presenting outstanding exhibitions that continue to inspire audiences. ✨

Take a closer look!

📆 Opening: June 12 (6pm)

LAST WEEK to see »ungerne« – Joschua Yesni Arnaut’s (.arnaut) first solo exhibition at Galerie 3AP (.3ap).

Some exhibitions claim clarity. »ungerne« does not. The title itself introduces a resistance: what is refused remains active at the same time. The exhibition revolves around states between inner attention and external attribution.

✨ Extended opening hours: June 9–13, Tue–Fri, 4-7pm
🥂 Closing Reception: June 13, 6-10pm
Performance by Aran Kleebauer at 8pm “Nothing Hurts As Much As Feeling Feels (Zärtlichkeit War nur ein Wort)”
📍 @‌galerie3ap, Brückenstraße 76, Frankfurt

✨ Curious to discover emerging artistic positions?

New Artists Show brings together three artistic voices that unfold contemporary visual worlds between material experimentation and imagination. In dialogue with one another, their works open up new perspectives on perception and the ways we construct reality.

Rhea Standke’s vibrant, dreamlike floral worlds meet Lev Khesin’s tactile silicone works, while Johannes Ehemann’s paintings navigate the space between photography, abstraction, and painterly transformation.

📆 Vernissage: June 10 (6-9 pm)
The exhibition runs until August 10

What gives a landscape it’s character?

In his recent series Am Weg, Hans-Christian Schink narrows his focus to a three-kilometre path leading from his home, located in the far northeast of Germany, to a nearby lake. Along this route, he observes flora and fauna, traces geological and human histories, and reflects on the subtle relationships between people and place.

📆 Currently on view until Aug 07

📷 A remarkable photographic legacy is now becoming digitally accessible: The Ursula Edelmann Archive presents a curated selection of works by renowned photographer Ursula Edelmann (1926–2024) online for the first time.

Her photographs document the reconstruction and transformation of Frankfurt, while also capturing significant architectural and art documentation as well as striking landscapes. The new website makes this historically and artistically important body of work accessible to a wider audience, offering fresh perspectives on Frankfurt’s urban and cultural history.
The initiative was launched by Thomas Edelmann, the photographer’s son, and Rudi Feuser, owner of .de Frankfurt.

Somewhere Else: An exhibition that begins where words end.

Kamilla Szíj draws lines. Again and again, until repetition becomes rhythm, rhythm becomes space, and space becomes something that feels almost like sound.
No colors, no titles. Only the line as a radical tool, condensed into web-like structures, expanded into immersive installations.
Somewhere Else at Schugar Rotariu is an invitation to turn your gaze inward.

An evening of contemporary art at featuring new works by , , Lukas Zimmermann (.zimm) and – for the first time at the gallery – ✨

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, 23 May, for the opening of two exhibitions bringing together immersive paintings, layered narratives, and shifting realities.

In his latest solo exhibition Die Kulisse bleibt (Der Wald vor lauter Bäumen), Noah Kauertz constructs staged landscapes through a meticulous interplay of digital collage, handmade dioramas, light, and oil painting – blurring the line between fiction and memory.

Alongside, the group exhibition Auf der Suche presents works by Mollie Campbell, Lukas Zimmermann, and Sebastian Jauregui. Through distinct visual languages, the artists explore perception, symbolism, memory, and imagined realities.

📅 Saturday, May 23 (7.30 – 9.30 pm) | All artists will be present 🎉
