The Frankfurt Gallery Weekend Saisonstart returns for edition #32! 🎉

Visit us on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, and explore our group exhibition ‘East-German Artscapes’.

You are invited on a journey through the artistic landscapes of eastern Germany – from Brandenburg to Berlin and Leipzig and on to Dresden. Accompanying the artists on these journeys, we explore both urban centres of artistic creativity, as well as more remote areas. Allegorical landscapes merge with real ones, offering a glimpse into the past and future, both inward and outward.

Presented Artists: Gerhard Altenbourg, Beate Debus, Ellen Fuhr, Hubertus Giebe, Clemens Gröszer, Johannes Heisig, Frank Hoffmann, Evelyn Richter, Volker Stelzmann, Lars Wiedemann, Doris Ziegler, Klaus Zylla.

Dear friends of DIE GALERIE,

yesterday we opened our new exhibition "Ostdeutsche Kunstlandschaften • East-German Artscapes" and are overwhelmed by the positive response this exhibition has received 🫠

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our artists - not only for their marvellous artworks, but more importantly for joining us in person at our opening - as well as to our guests, and finally to Johannes Honeck, director of the Kunsthalle Jesuitenkirche Aschaffenburg, for his insightful opening speech 👏🏻

We look forward to exploring the East-German Artscapes with you over the next months! ✨

After a decade away, we’re thrilled to return to Milan! 🤩

From April 16–19, 2026, visit us at Miart (Stand E19) to discover iconic works by the CoBrA group: bold, intense, and diverse. For over 40 years, these artists have been cornerstones of our gallery’s programme.

Join us and experience the vibrant energy of a movement that broke all the rules!
