Cala en Porter, Menorca island, Spain
If you add up all the beaches of Mallorca and Ibiza, there are still less of them than in Menorca. No matter how great the choice, you will fall in love with the miniature intimate resort of Cala en Porter. You will have to go down 180 steps to the beach at the bottom of the hill (and then climb back!), But it is not in vain marked with the Blue Flag.

Hotels and lodges are scattered over the cliffs that surround the sandy, shallow shore. White boats hover over the azure water as if by magic: it is so transparent that you can see the shadows at the bottom. Try exploring the bay by canoe, counting fish while snorkelling, or mastering a funny pedal boat. And to see the sun off to music, come to the tables of Cova D'En Xoroi - ancient caves that enterprising Spaniards turned into a restaurant right on the slope of a steep cliff. There are also several bars on the Cala en Porter beach, a playground for children, a beach volleyball net, a shower and toilet, and a lifeguard monitors safety. Two sun loungers and an umbrella can be rented for 17 €, but the sand is soft enough to lie on your towel and an umbrella can be bought nearby.

El Nido, Palawan Island, Philippines
Dozens of Philippine bounty islets have clustered around northern Palawan. Just imagine: smoky rocks hang over the white sand, tropical forests rustle nearby, the water in the lagoons sparkles in the sun like a disco ball, covering bright coral gardens.

The main attraction in El Nido Nature Reserve is to explore secret coves by boat and kayak and compare ideal beaches to each other. Tours are divided into 4 types - A, B, C and D - and cover different areas of Bakuit Bay. The most popular routes are B and C. For visiting the reserve they take 200 Philippine pesos (≈ $ 4), the ticket is valid for 10 days.

When to Go : The rainy season in Palawan runs from June to November and the dry season runs from December to May. The winter months are the most comfortable for traveling.

Kaputas Beach, Turkey
Photos of Kaputas Beach are viewed with suspicion: is this the case in Turkey? Powerful cliffs reliably hide this diamond from the noise of the city, tourists who come for "all inclusive", and annoying sellers of sunglasses - the nearest town is five kilometers away. The highway did not fit into the idyllic corner, so it was raised, and a staircase was created for people - it turned out to be comfortable and very picturesque.

Few people want to get this far, so on Kaputas Beach, no one will bother you to enjoy the fantastic color of the water and pleasant small pebbles that look just like golden sand, but keep the water clear. There are no sun loungers on the beach, an umbrella is rented for 10 lira ($ 2.5), and you can lie on your towel for free. There is a cafe, free shower, toilet and changing rooms on the territory, but the infrastructure does not spoil the magnificent view. They say that from the shore you can even see the neighboring Greek island.

When to Go : The water in the Turkish Riviera is comfortable for swimming from around mid-May to late September. The velvet season lasts from October to mid-November.

How to get there : Kaputas is located 200 km from the tourist Antalya and 20 km from the small picturesque town of Kas. You can get from Antalya to Kas and from Kas to the beach by buses, just do not forget to warn the driver about the desired stop.

Love Beach (Hidden Beach), Marieta Island, Mexico
Mexico knows how to keep secrets: the most beautiful beach is hidden right inside a cliff on a desert island. A secret passage opens at low tide: when the water recedes, you can make your way to the snow-white sandy shore along a narrow tunnel on a brisk kayak or by swimming.

In a perfect beam of light falling through a circular hole in the rock, the water off the coast of the Mexican Beach of Love shimmers with all shades of turquoise. Stone walls protect the secluded area from the wind, so the waves are quiet here and the water is always clear.

When to Go : Mexico is warm all year round, but storms and hurricanes are frequent in July and November. The ideal weather for a beach holiday is from December to April. Whales can be seen in Mexican waters around this time.

How to get there : The beach is located in the protected area of Marieta Island, and you need a permit to get there. Several travel agencies have it, so the easiest way is to join one of the excursions from Puerto Vallarta.
