Freie Tanzcompagnie Die go plastic company entwirft, produziert und veranstaltet. Hinein in fantastische, utopische und ästhetische Zukunftsvisionen.

Jedes Projekt variiert konzeptbedingt in Konstellation, Raum, Format und Umsetzung. Das freie, interdisziplinär aufgestellte Kollektiv begreift seinen Arbeitsmittelpunkt in Dresden und arbeitet von dort hinaus regional, bundesweit und international in verschiedenen Partnerschaften. Seit 2016 zählen sie zu den assoziierten Künstler:innen in HELLERAU - Europäisches Zentrum der Künste und bringen dor

t mindestens ein mal im Jahr eine Koproduktion zur
Uraufführung. go plastic wurde bereits mit den Arras Preis (2013) und den Dresdner Kunst - und Wissenschaftspreis (2017) ausgezeichnet und war 2019 mit ihrer Produktion "MOTEL VIBES" für den Sächsischen Tanzpreis nominiert. Ihre Projekte waren als Gastspiele und in Form von Künstlerresidenzen bereits in den deutschen Städten Leipzig, Görlitz, Halle, Berlin, München zu sehen und wurden international in Wien, Turin, Aosta, Faro und Miami vorgestellt. In 2020 erhielten sie das RELOAD Stipendium der Bundeskulturstiftung für ihr Research-Projekt "mind the rage". go plastic wurde außerdem mit ihrer Maßnahme "go plastic goes out" für TANZPAKT reconnect von Diehl&Ritter ausgewählt, um ihre internen Arbeitsstrukturen und ihre Repräsentation nach außen zu steigern und zu verstetigen. Mission Statement:
Wir sind ein künstlerisches Kollektiv, das sich diskursiv und interdisziplinär, mit den Mitteln des zeitgenössischen Tanzes, der Cineastik und Modedesign ausdrückt. Wir kollaborieren situativ, produktiv und transparent, um relevante, nachhaltige und inklusive Angebote zu schaffen. Hungrig nach sozialkritischen Diskursen holen wir euch ab von Räumen, Nicht-Orten und von Zuhause.

Kevin Albancando Tuntaquimba combines elements from contemporary dance, breaking, popping, and waving. His class focuses on physical presence, rhythmic precision, and the development of individual movement expression.
Kevin is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. Raised in Freiburg and now based in Leipzig, his artistic practice explores the intersections between urban and contemporary dance. A key influence was his long-term collaboration with the dance and action theatre Pan.Optikum, performing in large-scale public space productions across Europe and Mexico. Since 2019, he has been creating interdisciplinary projects mainly in Baden-Württemberg and Saxony. His recent work Soft War (2024), developed with author Martina Hefter and musician Patrice Libep, premiered at Schauspiel Leipzig.

Let’s meet for Tanz in den Mai to cheer up the lovely dance crews of 2026🌸

Dance into May is a collaborative project organized by go plastic company, in which the audience is guided through Hellerau by a city and dance guide in various ways and under moderated instruction, discovering different dance styles in very different locations throughout the garden city.
Dance into May opens up professional dance to a wider audience, provides a stage for clubs and dance groups, invites the urban community to participate, and shows how diverse Dresden’s dance scene and its dancers are. Encounters, dialogue, participation, and togetherness arise in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything is connected in and with a shared experience in the Hellerau district.
