2021 findet Fast Forward – europäisches Festival für junge Regie noch einmal „hybrid“ statt. Vier der eingeladenen Inszenierungen werden auf Bühnen in Dresden gezeigt und gleichzeitig auf www.fastforw.art live gestreamt, vier Inszenierungen finden ausschließlich online statt. In Dresden gibt es noch dazu ein Landschaftsstück. Gezeigt werden Aufführungen aus Polen, der Türkei, Großbritannien, Belgi
en, Frankreich, Deutschland, Griechenland und Österreich. Ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm bringt über die Aufführungen hinaus Publikum, Künstler*innen und Studierende aus ganz Europa zusammen – sowohl im analogen, als auch im digitalen Raum. Dabei hat Fast Forward auch 2021 eine klare Aufgabe: den europäischen Theaternachwuchs sichtbar zu machen und ihm eine internationale Bühne zu bieten, ein Platz für Entdeckungen, Nachwuchsförderung, für kulturellen Austausch und grenzüberschreitende Kommunikation zu sein. In 2021 Fast Forward ist once again taking place in a „hybrid“ format. Four invited productions will be shown on stages in Dresden and simultaneously streamed live via www.fastforw.art, four productions will only be shown online. Plus: there will be a landscape piece for Dresden. Fast Forward will present productions from Poland, Turkey, Great Britain, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece and Austria. Beyond the shows, a packed events programme will bring an audience, artists and students from all over Europe together – both in analogue and digital spaces. Fast Forward 2021 has a clear mission: to give the next generation of European theatre-makers visibility and to offer them an international stage, a place for making discoveries, supporting their work, for cultural dialogue and communication across boundaries.
