I didn't choose these colours by accident. The colours chose me❤️🌸
A few weeks ago, I visited the cherry blossoms near the Japanisches Palais in Dresden. Everywhere I looked, there were soft pink blooms swaying in the breeze, creating the most magical atmosphere.
I didn't think much of it at the time.
But when I sat down to colour this mandala, I found myself reaching for the same pink hues that had caught my eye that day. The red came naturally after that—bold, vibrant, and full of life, like the blossoms at their peak.
It's funny how inspiration works. Sometimes a place stays with you long after you've left it.
Now every time I look at this mandala, I see a little piece of that spring afternoon hidden between the patterns. 🌸✨
Have you ever seen a colour and instantly been reminded of a place or memory? ❤️
