Painting these veterans is always a privilege. Their armor tells the history of the Chapter. I focused heavily on the contrast between the deep crimson red, the harsh urban battle weathering, and the iconic golden helmets of Sanguinius' finest. The textured work on the parchment and purity seals gives them that perfect Grimdark feel to stand out from regular troops.

A lethal squad built to shred incoming hordes. For these 3 models, I pushed the iconic Blood Angels crimson while adding grim industrial wear to their massive heavy bolters. Barrel burn and soot effects complete the heavy firepower look!

The bases capture the ash and dust of the Armageddon warzone for maximum Grimdark vibes.

So much history and nostalgia packed into one sculpt. To bring this classic leader to life, I pushed the iconic crimson red contrasts and applied sharp NMM for the golden/metallic details. The base and weathering evoke the grim dust and ash of Armageddon's hive cities.

Pure joy working on these old-school Grimdark gems!

Throwback to a legendary piece: Minotaur from Rackham Confrontation! 💥

For long-time hobbyists, the old Rackham ranges will always be top-tier in terms of sculpt and identity. Painting this classic was pure nostalgic joy!

For this project, I focused on deep organic tones, smooth skin blends, and high-contrast metal details to capture all the brutal yet tragic lore of the model.

Taking a look back at the T'au Kill Team from the Dead Silence box! Finished this squad a while ago, but I still love how crisp they look on the shelf.

Painting T'au is a great exercise in precision: leaving grimdark textures behind in favor of smooth gradients, razor-sharp edge highlights, and deep panel lining to define that high-tech armor.

Loved every single bit of working on this squad!

With the new pre-orders landing this weekend, the Hive is buzzing! I just had to showcase my complete Goliath Gang to get into the mood.

Even if they aren't from the new boxed set, that raw grimdark feel, weathered leather, and rusted metal will always belong in the Underhive.

When painting a full squad, the secret is keeping visual harmony between those massive muscle volumes and the industrial grime on their gear.
