The official trailer of ASHES .I have granted myself the privilege of having created ASHES together with artists whom I deeply respect and admire, and who have been decisive in my journey within dance. who was my dance partner 25 years ago and whom I wanted to bring back because I couldn’t imagine anyone else helping me tell this story because he is always able to fill our space with evocative and suggestive images. because she creates lights of hell and of paradise with the same poetry, making both equally inhabitable. for her sharp gaze and artistic acuity, which allowed me to trust even what I could not see. because through his music he makes me recognize the beauty of vulnerability and of those secrets that only the body and he know.Thank you to and for trusting our work and for opening the doors of their home to our creations. for her support with smiles and the technicians for their kind cooperation .Thank you to all the friends and audience members who came to listen to our threshold, and to those who will do so at our upcoming performances.Ashes: the dancing body is not idealized, but affirmed as vulnerable and authentic.The body’s transience is not concealed; it becomes material for aesthetic articulation. Exhaustion, breath, trembling everything becomes expression in itself. Dance no longer appears solely as mastery of the body (although that is present) but as a dialogue with its finitude, as an act of resistance against impermanence.
