What looks like a single portrait is actually the result of dozens of artistic decisions: choosing the right face, building the composition, balancing the snakes, and refining the mood.
A touch of red was added at the client’s request — and it became one of my favorite elements of the entire design.

While working on this project, I was tempted to add more—more fish, more coral, more details. But good design is often less about what you add and more about what you choose to leave out.
In this case, simplifying the design turned out to be one of the best decisions. The main subjects remained the focal point, and the overall composition became cleaner, more readable, and more cohesive.

Some tattoos are less about appearance
and more about a feeling.

This project was created in memory of a beloved little friend 🖤

The idea was to make the piece feel warm and peaceful —
like he’s somewhere surrounded by flowers, soft light and all the places he loved.

First session: composition, placement, stencil and the start of the portrait.
Second session: background, flowers and final details ✨

A little memory to carry forever.
