In 2019, nobody thought people would come to an airport terrace to dance 🫦🛫

To be honest, neither did we.

What we did know was that there was something special about this place.

Airports have always been places where people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds come together. Places full of emotions. Hellos. Goodbyes. New beginnings.

We looked at this terrace and saw more than just planes.

We saw connection.

Back then, there was no blueprint.

No trend to follow.
No airport open airs.
No examples.

We didn’t follow a trend.
We created our own.

And over the years, something happened that we never planned for.

People kept coming back.

For the music.
For the sunsets.
For the feeling.

Friendships were made.
Relationships started.
A community was built.

A place thousands of people have called home over the last six years.

Today, airport terraces all over the world are being used for events.

We never set out to start a trend.

Back in 2019, we simply believed this place could become something special.

6 years later, we’re still here ❤️❤️❤️

And the idea is still the same:

Bringing people together.

Thank you for every ticket, every dance, every sunset and every memory you’ve shared with us over the last six years. ❤️

This story belongs to all of us.

Six years of sunsets above the runway.
Six years of strangers turning into family.
Six years of moments nobody wanted to end.

And somehow… this thing became bigger than all of us.

So on June 06/07 we’re celebrating the only way Hawā should ever be celebrated:

DAY & NIGHT & DAY. 🌗☀️

16 hours on Saturday.
From daylight into darkness

And then Sunday daytime. Full hearts. Airplanes above us and music that still hits different after all these years.

Just one endless weekend with the people who made Hawā what it is today.
