Dezső Dudás, who spent his childhood in Gödöllő, is currently the director and owner of DD 55 Art Gallery in Cologne. In addition to renowned foreign artists, he has exhibited works by several Hungarian artists, including textile artist Erzsébet Katona Szabó, graphic artist István Orosz, painter Mózes Incze and textile artist Ilona Lovas.

"I was already an adult when I realised how lucky I was to have spent my childhood in the neighbourhood of the Gödöllő Artists' Colony. My parents' house is at the 'epicentre' of the artists' colony. My friends at the time lived in the Nagy Sándor House, so I was a regular visitor to this special, almost eerily deserted building and garden. I was also a regular visitor to the Remsey House, where I played a lot with David Remsey. His kind Uncles were always welcome to see us and I often found myself watching them at work. ... A little piece of the bohemian art world of Gödöllő, like a seed in the ground, was planted in me."
