DJ The Taz Man (UK)
Kieron “Taz” Robathan began his DJ journey in the early 2000s spinning R&B and Garage before discovering the Northern Soul scene — a turning point that set the course for his musical path. Mentored by the late, great Ted Massey, Taz quickly became a fixture on the UK soul circuit, performing across the country at countless soul nights, alldayers, allnighters, and weekenders.
His sets bridge eras and energies — from Oldies and Rare Soul to Modern and forward-thinking sounds — reflecting both his deep respect for tradition and his drive to keep the scene fresh. Over the past decade, he’s held residencies at events such as The Big South West Weekender, Rhythm Soul & Funk Weekenders, Illfracombe Weekenders and Swansea All dayers while guesting at legendary venues including The Blind Pig, The Soul Shack, Soul Express, The Brown Cow and Ukrainian club in Ashton.
Taz has also brought his sound to international stages, spinning at the Copenhagen Weekender in Denmark and Shing-A-Ling Allnighter in Valencia, Spain. Known for his across-the-board soul selections and commitment to pushing boundaries, he’s excited to make his return to Germany at the Cologne Soul Weekender 2027
