Following the production "Skin Deep", OCN deepens its exploration of bodily experience. Here, the immediate experiences and physical memories of one’s own body are set against social judgments and attributions that often restrict and divide.
Choreographer Pau Aran, a longtime dancer with Pina Bausch, and Helge Letonja, the ensemble’s artistic director, are united by the conviction that dance can reveal how much changeability and movement the self should be allowed, and how the self can find a home within a community.

Tomorrow at the 𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹!

As part of the EU project IncluDance in cooperation with Scenario Pubblico / Compagnia Zappalà Danza, we will perform tomorrow at the local FIC Festival. Outdoors in the Cortile Platamone, the dancers present the double evening 𝗨𝗻-𝗭𝗲𝗶𝘁 (Helge Letonja) and 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, the new work of guest choreographer Fay van Baar, which was also developed as part of IncluDance.

Upcoming performances: catch us live soon!

Next week we are travelling to Catania to perform at the FIC festival, where we will present a double evening with 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, the new work by , and 𝗨𝗻-𝗭𝗲𝗶𝘁 by Helge Letonja.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 will also come back to Bremen for two more evenings, together with 𝗘𝘇𝗮𝗻-𝗞𝗲́𝗹𝗲́ by .
We are also premiering a new work by .aran.gimeno, and a new work by Helge Letonja, in an double evening called 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲 - 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗨𝘀.

Next week we perform two choreographies by 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗷𝗮: 𝗨𝗡-𝗭𝗘𝗜𝗧 & 𝗔 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁'𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺
In this evening full of contrasts, the artistic range of the ensemble becomes tangible. Alongside the contemporary commentary "UN-ZEIT", which hits the heart with full force, the sensuality and longing for encounters of "A late Summer Night's Dream" forms a dream-like antithesis.

OCN lockt euch schon mal mit ins Sommergefühl der warmen Nächte und aufgeheizten Stimmungen.��Im Kaufhausgebäude tanzt OCN Ausschnitte aus "A Late Summer Nights Dream" von Helge Letonja und greift darin die drängende Suche nach Verbundenheit und Körperlichkeit auf.�Zwischen Berührung und Hingabe, wirft sich eine Gruppe junger Menschen in die aufgeladene Stimmung einer Sommernacht.�Exstatische und albtraumhafte Zustände wechseln sich ab bis sich das Zeitfenster zum Eintauchen in eine verführerische Traumwelt wieder schließt.
Of Curious Nature ist in Bewegung und macht sich stark für eine vielfältige, sinnliche und menschliche Innenstadt.
Diesmal in Kooperation mit dem Flomio Supermarkt. �Wie wollen wir zukünftig neue Orte im Bremer Zentrum gestalten?
