🎭 Countdown to the premiere in Windhoek! 🎶🌍

Only a few months to go until the big premiere – and the excitement is building! The ensemble is currently rehearsing intensively under the direction of , working on choreography. At the same time, Osmond !Owoseb and are guiding the cast through the music and acting scenes.

Soon, the German artists will join the team – and we’ll begin rehearsing together for the big moment on stage. 🌟

🎭✨ How does the world of People of Song come to life?

What does it take to bring a stage to life? 🎨🌍
We’re excited to introduce our youngest designers: two school classes – one from Windhoek 🇳🇦 and one from Berlin 🇩🇪 – who are developing ideas and concepts for the stage design of People of Song together with professional set designers Jonathan Kitavi (Namibia) and (Germany).

Through a creative exchange, these students are exploring themes of identity, heritage, and imagination, shaping the visual world of our production from their own unique perspectives.
This week, we’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes impressions of this very special collaboration. 🖌️👩🏽‍🎨👨🏼‍🎨

Was braucht es, um eine Bühne mit Leben zu füllen? 🎨🌍

Wir freuen uns riesig, euch unsere jüngsten Designerinnen vorzustellen: Zwei Schulkassen – eine aus Windhoek 🇳🇦 und eine aus Berlin 🇩🇪 – gestalten gemeinsam mit den professionellen Bühnenbildnerinnen Jonathan Kitavi (Namibia) und Gretl Kautzsch (Deutschland) den Bühnenraum für unser Musiktheaterprojekt People of Song.

In einem kreativen Austausch entwickeln die Schüler*innen Konzepte, Visionen und Ideen für das Bühnenbild – inspiriert von ihren eigenen Perspektiven auf Herkunft, Geschichte und Zukunft.
