SYMBIOSIS

There are three forms of human existence:

Humans exploits humans and nature.

Humans are exploited by humans.

Humans develops a coexistence with humans and nature.

SYMBIOSIS is a documentary-artistic observation of director Simon's, alias Sascha Pascale Weber, personal confrontation with the endeavor, experience and survival as a complex entity, a reflected structure of a multi-layered personal discovery in a highly intimate and border-crossing transcription of joint conversations and exchanges of ideas with and through the performance artist Frédéric Krauke. The partly staged realities were created over a period of eight years and have become an actual existential struggle of the participants. The production process of this document, in turn, has developed into an existential search for a symbiotic survival strategy of the actors; in respect for the other, as well as for the self and in a fragile environment that literally "gets under the skin."

It remains open who or what exists.
