Happy 10 years Berlin Spoken Word!

Truly the absolute highlight of the event for us as organisers wasn't just the 7 hours of incredible performances, it was how the community showed up for us. It was in how Eva and Constantine made craft tables and put out the paper for people to draw on, How Ratak designed our incredible guest book, how Lau and Anna ran the kids table, all the amazing writers who brought books to sell, who met and gathered, and shared together. Berlin Spoken Word would be nothing without the sometimes over a hundred people that turn up every week. Our job as organisers is to make a weekly space for people to turn up and share a part of themselves. It's the people who come who create what Berlin Spoken Word really is. You are the people who continue to plant and grow the seed of this amazing Open Mic community. From the depths of our hearts, we want to thank everyone for what you have contributed these past ten years to let us be able to continue to run these events. See you next Thursday!
