What a fabulous sing-through of Princess Ida we had today! This was the 7th opera we sang through this year, and our biggest one to date. Thrilled to have everyone join us, both newbies and those who had been there before.
We have now done 7 of the Savoy operas - Pirates of Penzance, Mikado, HMS Pinafore, Gondoliers, Patience, Ruddigore and now Princess Ida and we aim to do the final 6 before the end of the 2025/2026 season.
When a group of us started this in March 2025 with Pirates, we could not have imagined how this has so quickly flourished - clearly G&S is the 'secret sauce' that Berlin has been craving!
