[SPECIAL CONCERT - Freiburger Barockorchester]
🎶 On Monday, what was probably one of the most moving concerts we have ever experienced took place in Berlin's : together with the phantastic Alexander Chance, the FBO celebrated not only Vivaldi, but also Hans-Georg Kaiser, who marked his farewell as the first General Director of the FBO.
🥂Afterwards, we gathered in the beautiful offices of Konzert-Direktion Adler, where we, along with many colleagues, raised a glass with our dear business partner and friend to celebrate a remarkable period of success and years that have had a profound impact on the musical world.
😍 We are excited to see what the coming years will bring for the FBO under its new leadership, and we hope that Hans-Georg will visit us in Berlin as often as possible. Wishing everyone involved all the very best as they transition from one era into the next!

The Orchestra, conductor Richard Egarr and Jean-Guihen Queyras trace the connections between Johann Sebastian Bach, his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Felix Mendelssohn in their joint programme featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.

[AMAZÔNIA - Simone Menezes & Dresdner Philharmonie]
📰 “An extraordinary experience" … is how Feuilleton Frankfurt described a performance of the symphonic concert AMAZÔNIA, presented under the musical direction of Simone Menezes and featuring photographs by the world-renowned late photographer Sebastião Salgado.
🦋 The programme celebrates the unique natural cosmos of the Amazon in all its facets, with compositions by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Philip Glass which, like Salgado’s photographs, are directly inspired by this diverse, wild, and tragically endangered rainforest region.
😍 Together with the Dresden Philharmonic and soprano Camile Provenzale, the Italian-Brazilian conductor Simone Menezes will appear in June in Dresden and Lissabon.

[THE JOURNEY IS THE DESTINATION]
😍 What do we do when we don’t have a concert of our own? We go and attend those of our colleagues and friends! On Whit Monday, we had the chance to experience part of the wonderful project “Les Chemins de Bach” by Raphaël Pichon and Pygmalion — a truly memorable experience!
🎶 On our way from Berlin to Lüne Abbey, we passed through Hundertwasser-Bahnhof Uelzen, paid a short visit to the enchanting old town of Lüneburg.de, and then walked to the abbey together with many enthusiastic fans, where a magnificent concert featuring works by Bach, Scarlatti, and Handel awaited us, followed by a warm and convivial gathering with audience members and artists alike.

😍 Together with their long-standing musical partner and friend Ian Bostridge, Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi explore states of the human soul in their program Lamento.
🎶 The program tells of affects and emotions—of sorrow, jubilation, conflict, and joy—in short, of the full range of human feelings as expressed in the 17th century through new musical forms and techniques that emerged primarily in Italy.

WHY WE LOVE OUR WORK?
🌞 Not only because we are treated to outstanding concerts by our wonderful orchestras and ensembles, but also because many of them are based in truly beautiful places – like Concerto Copenhagen!
😍 Alongside productive and inspiring meetings and conversations, and a wonderful performance of Monteverdi’s "L'incoronazione di Poppea" conducted by Lars Ulrik Mortensen at the historic Det Kongelige Teater, there was still some time left to visit the MACA Museum , Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Frederik’s Church, and to enjoy a little stroll through beautiful & sunny Copenhagen.

CONCERT TOUR - Gone by far too quickly!
🎶 Two weeks ago, our wonderful tour with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Sir Simon Rattle began, taking the orchestra from the Philharmonie Berlin via the Philharmonie Essen, the Kölner Philharmonie, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg all the way to the Alte Oper Frankfurt.

[CONCERT - Berliner Philharmoniker]
🌟 Since 1991, the Berlin Philharmonic has celebrated the diversity of Europe’s countries and cultures with its Europe Concert on May 1, while also commemorating the founding of the orchestra on May 1, 1882.
🇦🇹 This year, the concert will take place at Schloss Esterházy in Eisenstadt—the place where Joseph Haydn helped define European classical music.
🎶 Chief conductor Kirill Petrenko, Gautier Capuçon and the world-famous orchestra present works by Joseph Haydn, Igor Stravinsky, Pyotr Tchaikovsky & Ludwig van Beethoven.
