KENDRA

North American / Barcelonian.
Kendra’s deepest musical roots lie with the influences of her Catalan father’s culture
as a painter and music freak collecting dub, jazz, ambient, krautrock and post-punk records;
and her Northern Californian mother who came of age during the Summer of Love in San Francisco Bay Area with all her passion for the psychedelic acid rock and roll bands of the 60’s and 50's.

Kendra’s musical passion naturally induced her to also star collecting records in her late 20s which with time turned into regular gigs at Barcelona’s most emblematic clubs: Macarena, Sala Apolo, Red58, Razzmatazz, Checkpoint party's and other underground venues, earning some guest appearances in Berlin's Watergate Club, Munich, Madrid, Granada..

As a music producer she has released on digital format in labels as HAME from Uruguay with Dafoe and Lis Sarroca’s Maai Records. Also in Alex Picone’s last 12” release on his Illegal Series Label along with other artists in Barcelona.

Difficult to typecast…In constant development exploring the limitless musical universe as she goes…
