Step into a magical world where taste, art, and imagination collide! 🌟
From December 12–15 and 18–21, MaHalla presents “INSIDE THE LIGHT” – an extraordinary dinner event blending Michelin-level vegetarian cuisine by ⭐ Master Chef Stephan Hentschel with mesmerizing light art, live music, and captivating performances, all brought to life by Chaos Director Ralf Schmerberg.

„Death Awaits Us All“
For the day of the dead, Music Ashram invites you to join our traditional celebration of the Totenpicknick. Here we come together in remembrance of the precious people who have passed away.
Images come to our minds; of dear companions, who once graced our lives, loved ones whom we miss, persons whose lives made an impact on our lives; of all those who were here, contributing, caring, and are now gone. For this night, we bring them all with us. Family, friends, loved ones. We build beautiful altars to set up their pictures, lighten a candle and give their stories to the table. May their beloved spirits live again in our tender thoughts and truly loving hearts.
One is only really dead when one is no longer remembered.
With altars dedicated to the four elements water, earth, air and fire, ancient traditions honor the dead’s return back into our earthly world. If you are joining us on this night, you should bring a framed picture of those you miss and whose story you might want to share. You may also bring candles and flowers, symbolic offerings and anything that seems necessary to you. Using the pictures and objects, we decorate a beautifully festive altar of memories together.
You shall feed and drink in memory of the dead and illuminate your surroundings. For the picnic you bring your own favorite food that you also love to share with others. Also bring some blankets and furs to sit on, to make it really cozy. What you wear is completely up to you – this celebration loves you festive and dressed up, but most importantly you should think of warm clothes, solid shoes and thick socks.
Music Ashram will provide the music, sound and performance for the Totenpicknick.
Acknowledgement is a plant that grows mainly on graves.
As a contribution towards the efforts and costs to organize, we ask each guest for a contribution of 25,-€
You can also pay at the box office.
