🖐 We are ahead of our upcoming 5. edition of paper positions berlin, from 29 April - 2 May 2021 @telekomhauptstadtrepraesentanz. Jubilee 🔆🕺💃🔆

5 years ago - in early May 2016 - we started this successful story with a curated group exhibition @bikiniberlin. An exhibition about, with and on (surprise, surprise!) the material of paper, entitled PAPER POSITIONS.
We showed amazing works by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, George Grosz, August Macke, Bernard Schultze, Neo Rauch, Shinkichi Tajiri, Micha Ullman, Vera Molnar, Gerhard Hoehme, Halfa, Hartmut Böhm, Chris Newman, Andreas Seltzer, Markus F. Completely overwhelmed by the amount of visitors and sales, we decided to do it again in the following year. 🖐

Next week, from 22 - 25 October 2020, we present selected artistic positions from 21 galleries in a group exhibition on works on paper at the Munich auction house @karlandfaber
Your safety is of course our top priority. The pandemic-related hygiene concept for the exhibition includes not only the wearing of a mouth-nose cover and compliance with the applicable distance regulations, but also contactless data acquisition and temperature measurement as well as the access in 1-hour slots. The time slots must be reserved online in advance. From Monday, 19 October, the few public slots can be booked online via www.paperpositions.com. The entry is free of charge. paper positions pursues the idea of an art salon in the form of art fairs. Founded as a special format of the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair in Berlin, paper positions now also takes place in Basel, Frankfurt and Munich. International galleries present artworks out of, with and on paper - including drawings, collages, paintings, objects, photographs, artist's books and autographs. Paper positions offers established and prospective collectors, as well as other artloving visitors, a broad spectrum of high-quality contemporary, modern, and 19th-century art. The fair's focus is less about high prices or renown names than of special artistic positions and the opportunity to make discoveries. Exhibitors are attracted by the fair as it offers a extensive and affordable package that allows them to experiment and to present also young artists. paper positions presents an exciting dialogue with artworks by already well-known artists that wait to be rediscovered. The unconventional nature of this fair is also reflected in the fair architecture. There are deliberately no booths.
