AUNT

Aunt is the two-headed entity formed by Dean O’Sullivan and Stella Sesto in 2022, following the dismantling of their previous band, Skinny Downers. Their music exists somewhere between ’70s no wave, ’80s post-punk, and ’90s shoegaze, driven by a relentless drum machine that only knows 4/4.
Their uncompromising approach to DIY production and self-releases has, over the years, rewarded them with total anonymity, but also complete artistic freedom — with which, as of today, they still cannot buy bread.
They have released two EPs (Aunt, 2022, and FAAF, 2024). Their first full-length is due to be released imminently.

CALGOLLA

Calgolla are a four-piece Berlin-based band working with the song form, winking at it while trying to integrate more open musical forms (alt-rock, post-rock, post-punk, math rock). Various contemporary sub-genres of rock music are combined with spoken word, influenced by the aesthetics of beat poetry and poetry slams.
Iter is the band’s latest album, released in 2025 on Vina Records and distributed by Believe Music. It is available on all major digital streaming platforms and as a limited-edition 12” vinyl.
Iter is an intense and layered sonic journey into the contradictions of the contemporary human condition. The record deals with themes such as migration, inner transformation, social alienation, ecological collapse, and a sense of loss, layering lyrics and sounds into a coherent yet fragmented narrative, much like the time it portrays.

Born in Mexico City and raised across Mexico, the US, and the UK, Raw’s music embodies a nomadic identity. She merges folk tradition with underground indie aesthetics in what she describes as Bolero Garage, a style that spans spectral country blues, Spanish-language folk ballads, with the rebellious irreverence of punk. Her songs feel like unearthed relics: intimate, raw, and cinematic. Her voice carries the grit of rockabilly, the histrionic drama of bolero, and the confessional edge of folk music. A poetic defiance runs through her work, weaving into a sound that is at once nostalgic and disarmingly hypnotic.

We are still blown away by the huge wave delivered by Uzeda. It has been no less than a dream come true! Years go by, but the power of this incredible quartet and their ability to connect with the audience in a deep catharsis seem to be uneffected.
