La Playa explores humanity’s relationship with nature, the forces that shape us, and the internal and external systems that govern our lives. Structured as a two-part work, the first section introduces four central characters working in a beachside café, each representing an elemental force: fire (a cook), water (a cleaning lady), air (a smoking waiter), and earth (a gardener). After a transformative event, a tsunami strikes La Playa, the second half shifts into an abstract, a movement-driven celebration of the body, spirituality, and resilience.

Accompanied by five live musicians playing an original score for the work, Olga’s stage design emulates a beachy atmosphere, while four performers unfold the story of La Playa.

Sharing some stills from the vibrantly dark duo POLLUX (Nick Dunston & Min Yoon) the world premiere of CENTER [O] POSITIVE (17-19 April 2026)

“Yoon’s skeleton, a tensegrity structure, seems to deform and reform within the charged field, its effects rippling back outward into space through micro-shakes, expanding as a dense, resistant presence. Piezoelectricity is the electric charge that accumulates in certain materials, including bone in our bodies, in response to applied mechanical stress. The performers’ bodies are moved differently by the shared force field of colliding signals, both in constant motion. Dunston’s movements are often larger and faster, pulsing and rebounding in elastic cycles as he navigates spatial frequencies through contact with equipment.”

La Playa

La Playa is a multi-disciplinary cinematic dance performance, centered around four individual characters, at a beachside café. A cook, a cleaning lady, a waiter, and a gardener, each representing an elemental natural force. Olga uses physical items on stage for her set, to create a world which resonates with a beachy atmosphere. What seems light and nonchalant quickly changes to dark and dynamic as an abrupt tsunami warning teases the denizens from safety in their mundane everyday life. The work questions the importance of our daily activities which can be quickly eradicated due to nature’s powerful and prolific forces.

European Premiere: La petite Laura
Location: Acker Stadt Palast, Berlin
Date: May 22 & 23. 2026 at 8 pm
Length: 40 min followed by a Q & A

La petite Laura is both an invitation and a performance. Developed over two years, this personal memoir by the French-Danish artist Laura Guy, following its world premiere in Paraguay (April 2025), is now celebrating its European premiere.

The piece weaves movement and sound into emotional vignettes – humanistic snapshots that invite the audience to reflect.

Childlike innocence and adult complexity intertwine in a journey through past and present.

With her signature impressive and technical physicality, Laura explores the delicate terrain of healing, identity, and l’âme d’enfant – the childlike essence within us.

A world where joy and sorrow are in playful dialogue. The evening concludes with an optional audience discussion about the creative process.
