European Premiere: La petite Laura
Location: Acker Stadt Palast, Berlin
Date: May 22 & 23. 2026 at 8 pm
Length: 40 min followed by a Q & A

La petite Laura is both an invitation and a performance. Developed over two years, this personal memoir by the French-Danish artist Laura Guy, following its world premiere in Paraguay (April 2025), is now celebrating its European premiere.

The piece weaves movement and sound into emotional vignettes – humanistic snapshots that invite the audience to reflect.

Childlike innocence and adult complexity intertwine in a journey through past and present.

With her signature impressive and technical physicality, Laura explores the delicate terrain of healing, identity, and l’âme d’enfant – the childlike essence within us.

A world where joy and sorrow are in playful dialogue. The evening concludes with an optional audience discussion about the creative process.

Some initial impressions from last night with:

CENTER [O] POSITIVE
Two more nights (18,19.04) at UFERSTUDIOS, Studio 1 - tickets available at the door, showtime is 7pm!

Thank you Min and Nick for sharing this incredible work with us!

MORE INFO:
CENTER[O]POSITIVE is a performance-installation by POLLUX, the duo of Nick Dunston and Min Yoon, integrating
post/butoh dance, banjo+feedback, experimental vocals, resonant objects, and live electronics into a field of
constant variation.

Feedback becomes an unstable archive, shifting perception live in real-time. The duo’s work is informed by an improvisational, experimental, research-driven practice — in the context of an audio-visual installation/performance shaped by feedback, trails, and counterpoint. By embodying each audio source (resonant object) with ontologically related, but independently playing sonic and embodied material, the result is a constantly developing combination of sounds that interact and fold into each other.

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine that all of our day to day obligations could be destroyed within a blink of an eye by nature’s insurmountable power.

In La Playa, Olga Rabetskaya explores this concept through movement. A cook, a waiter, a gardener all participating in their daily tasks until... a tsunami. Residents of La Playa beach must flee, but what happens to our work when nature takes over?

Read Alishanee Chafe-Hearmon words on the topic as we re-launch the Apricot Press page on our website. Sharing an archive of words on the work we observe worldwide. This time in New York City.

Thank you La Playa cast, Olga, and Alishanee!
