Hello BEASTS fans!
We have been very quiet on FB recently, and for good reason!
BEASTS have been very busy recording an album, rehearsing and planning for some very exciting news coming up in the next weeks.
First of all we will be releasing our debut single "Whiskey" on exclusive limited edition 7" vinyl with Radio Transmission Records. The official release date is October 23rd and we will also be putting out a music video that we've been working on.
And to celebrate our first record release, we will be playing a release concert at the fabulous BiNuu in Berlin, Kreuzberg on November 5th!
Come one, come all! It's going to be a great night, with support from the mighty Precious Mings and our good friends from Faller!
There will be more news on this in the coming days and weeks, so stay tuned. In the meantime, here's an exclusive photo by Mark Fernyhough of the band, musing on the subject of 'Whiskey' (with a cameo appearance from Alex from Faller!)!

Last year I worked with young and upcoming swiss band Madégras. They have been very open to my ideas but also have a strong desire to stay who they are and not to make compromises. We recorded drums, bass and guitars live onto 1" tape. All in the same room. Synth, vocals and some other sounds were overdubbed in the digital domain. I also played a roland space echo as a kind of theremin. You hear the swirling sounds in the chorus and a bit in the verses. And they did a great job to produce a video. Enjoy!
