🪷 This FRIDAY 🪷

Throughout history, Midsommar has been understood as a moment when the boundary between the ordinary world and the supernatural grows thin, allowing for transformation, heightened perception, and unexpected events.

In fiction, this idea recurs across time and genre, from the enchanted forests of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to the ritualistic unease of 2019's 'Midsommar'; and extending further back into the spiritually charged traditions of pagan midsummer rites and the Summer Solstice.

Join us on Friday the 19th of June to celebrate as 12 artists share their interpretations of this charged and luminous moment in the year.

On May 8th, come to THE BLEED and take a seat on the flat bed scanner. The TINY ASS PRINTS studio will be open from 19:00-22:00. Help make this exhibition, which will be running through June 13th, and have a drink, a snack, and a dance with us.

Zeit für etwas Live-Musik // Time for some live music 🤘

Im The Bleed, Berlin, am 15. April präsentieren The Woolverstones ihren harmonievollen Art-Folk, durchzogen von Atmosphäre und subtiler Psychedelia. Ihr gefeiertes Debütalbum Grey Eyed Dandy – produziert vom für den Grammy 2026 nominierten John Wood, bekannt für seine Arbeit mit Nick Drake, Nico und John Cale (The Velvet Underground) – erhielt internationale Airplay und wurde für seinen düsteren, pastoralen und cineastischen Sound gelobt.
Seit der Veröffentlichung ist das Duo auf Festivals wie dem Cambridge Folk Festival aufgetreten und hat Europaweit getourt, außerdem waren sie auf der Compilation In The Year 2025 von Fruits de Mer Records vertreten.

At The Bleed, Berlin on April 15, The Woolverstones perform their harmony-rich art-folk, steeped in atmosphere and subtle psychedelia. Their acclaimed debut album Grey Eyed Dandy—produced by the 2026 Grammy-nominated John Wood, known for his work with Nick Drake, Nico and John Cale (The Velvet Underground)—earned international airplay and praise for its dark pastoral and cinematic sound. Since its release, the duo have appeared at festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival and toured across Europe, while also featuring on Fruits de Mer Records’ In The Year 2025 compilation.

Ups! Wir haben noch gar nicht offiziell geteilt, was gerade an unseren Wänden hängt.
Kommt vorbei und schnappt euch ein Original oder eine Risografie – alle liebevoll und mit einer Prise Verspieltheit von den Künstler*innen signiert und damit perfekte Geschenke (ja, natürlich dürfen wir uns auch selbst beschenken).

Durch diese Druckausstellung erhalten wir einen Einblick in Allison Sommers’ aktuelle Ausstellung in Philadelphia mit neuen und originalen Arbeiten.
Allison Sommers (USA, 1983) ist eine in Berlin lebende Künstlerin, die hauptsächlich mit Gouache, Graphit und Mixed Media arbeitet. Ihre Werke erkunden monumentale und seltsam anmutende Halbgött*innen und die fruchtbaren, überfluteten Gärten, die sie pflegen – Eingeweide und Flora winden sich ineinander, die Grenze zwischen Körper und Landschaft verschwimmt auf sinnliche Weise.

Besucht diese geheimnisvolle, letzte Ausstellung des Jahres und nehmt einige der fantastischen hochwertigen Drucke mit nach Hause, die zum ersten Mal in unseren Räumen erhältlich sein werden.

Through this print exhibition we get to take a peek at Allison Sommers' recent Philadelphia based show of new and original artworks.

Allison Sommers (USA 1983) is a Berlin-based artist working primarily in gouache, graphite, and mixed media. Their work explores monumental and strange demigod(desse)s and the fertile flooded gardens they tend, viscera and flora snaking in and out, the boundary between body and landscape lusciously muddled.

Come visit this mysterious, last-of-the-year exhibition and take back home some of their fantastic quality prints that will be available for the first time in our spaces.

⚠️ DIESEN FREITAG!/THIS FRIDAY! ⚠️
I just wanted to see what it looks like...(when I make a screenprint of it).
Mit diesem Titel, unter diesem Satz, präsentieren wir mit großer Freude und Ehre die Arbeit von Mathias Schmidt.
Ein Satz, der ganz im Stil des Künstlers in seiner Einfachheit eine große Tiefe birgt und ihn als Künstler und Mensch widerspiegelt.
Mathias gehört seit vielen Jahren zur Berliner Siebdruck-Szene und hat sich einen Platz unter den Meistern dieses Genres erobert. Als Autodidakt und Neugieriger in all seinen künstlerischen und beruflichen Unternehmungen hat Mathias überall, wo er gewesen ist, Spuren hinterlassen, vom Kollektiv SDW über Siebdruck-Workshops mit Kindern bis hin zur Arbeit im Verein Kibera Hope Academy.
Bei dieser Gelegenheit präsentiert Lib eine vielseitige Auswahl seiner Werke, die verschiedene Schaffensphasen umfasst.

I just wanted to see what it would look like... (if I made a screen print of it). With this title, under this sentence, we are delighted and honoured to present the work of Mathias Schmidt.
A sentence that, in keeping with the artist's style, conceals great depth in its simplicity and reflects him as an artist and a person. Mathias has been part of the Berlin screen printing scene for many years and has earned his place among the masters of this genre. Self-taught and curious in all his artistic and professional endeavours, Mathias has left his mark wherever he has been, from the SDW collective to screen printing workshops with children to his work with the Kibera Hope Academy association. On this occasion, Lib presents a diverse selection of his works spanning various creative phases.

Join us for an afternoon filled with art, music and... screen-printed henna tattoos!
