Entrée
Two years ago, Deborah Wargon and I won the City of Solingen's Kunst und Bauen competition for a work of art at Schloss Burg with the design for this mosaic. Yesterday we could celebrate the opening. It is a floor as a dance stage with the notation of a Renaissance dance from the 16th century. The historical music was also set to music by Deborah. We would like to thank the city of Solingen for the commission and the uncomplicated and friendly cooperation!
Thanks also to my collegues in the studio and on construction site Franziska, Paulina, Janos and Doreen.

Every mosaic has its own story. This is the story of a beloved passed away human and a big love for ducks. Its the story of a duck called Erich, who found a home.
