Instead of overwhelming the participants with the complications of learning all the techniques, we begin with retrieving and relying on the joys of working with art as a medium, learning to link thoughts and emotions to visual expression and not to be afraid to share them within a group. If you find the content, learning the techniques gets easier and more fun! Art-Expression is an invitation to step over the barriers and limitations of verbal communication and replace them with creative & unique paths in using images and artworks.

> ‘Good Art’ or ‘Bad Art’? let’s erase that thought! In Art-Expression, we offers a safe time-space in which multiple social, gender and personal suppressions are challenged. Breaking free from judgments of others and oneself is a priority. We create art and share thoughts and experiences in a group setting. By offering a set of mind-triggering tasks, the participants will use simple and easy-to-achieve visual arts techniques to materialise their thoughts. By developing & adopting an alternative way through free expression, the participants are invited to experience the joy of creativity and to share it amongst themselves and build bridges towards their surroundings.

This is a deep, guided exploration of how we relate to our bodies, emotions, and desires through visual creation.

Over five transformative weekends in an intimate Berlin studio setting, you’ll learn to translate complex inner landscapes into drawing and painting. Guided by the unique Art-Expression method, you’ll sharpen not only your artistic voice — but also your ability to reflect, connect, and communicate.

- You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience with arts to join this program.
- You have the desire to try out & use the art mediums.
- You are dedicated and eager to open time and space for yourself.
- You are not afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone and are up for creative challenges.
- You are open to understanding others and learn from the dynamism of a group.
📌 Time Plan:
Happens: Annually. (Two Openings Per Year (January & September)
4x Phases:
3xMonths per Phase | 2xSessions per Month | 3xHours per session
(18 hours per phase)
Online program:
Happens via Zoom Meetings
✏️ Registration:
Participants will enrol per phase and can decide whether they want to level-up to the next phases by the end of each semester.
Upgrading to the next phases is elective.
Admission Fee per Phase is 270,0-€
(Painting materials are not included in the price)
The maximum number of participants in the online program is 12.
Once the maximum number of participants is reached, registration will close. So early enrollments are encouraged.

The call for Art-Expression Workshops annual program for Summer 2023 is out and the annual program is now open for registrations!

👉🏾This year, the annual program is only happening in IRL format and only accepts up to 10‼️ participants. 👈🏾

The registration deadline is 28.06.2023.

Attention please: because of limited vacancies, the group will close once it is a full house. So early submissions are warmly encouraged!
