Among the various stages involved in creating my jewelry, there is one that holds a special place for me: the shaping and polishing process.
It is at this stage that each piece begins to reveal its final form. 🦋
The shape is designed to enhance the morphology of each being, while the polished resin elegantly encapsulates species suspended in time.
What you see in this image is the only stage in which the insect goes through a preliminary mold. From that point on, every step is done by hand, following its natural curves and respecting the uniqueness of each form.
It is a meticulous process in which I do not seek to impose a form on nature, but rather to reveal what nature has already created.

Dentre as diversas etapas que fazem parte da elaboração das minhas joias, existe uma pela qual tenho um carinho especial: a lapidação.
É nesse momento que cada peça começa a revelar sua forma definitiva. 🦋
O shape é elaborado para enaltecer a morfologia de cada ser, enquanto a resina lapidada encapsula elegantemente espécies suspensas no tempo.
O que se vê nesta imagem é a única etapa em que o inseto passa por um pré-molde. A partir daí, todo o trabalho é feito à mão, acompanhando suas curvas naturais e respeitando a singularidade de cada forma.
É um processo minucioso, em que não busco impor uma forma à natureza, mas revelar aquilo que ela já criou.
