Ausgehend von Robert McRuers „Crip-Theorie“ wird der Choreograf, Performer und Theoretiker Michael Turinsky im Vortrag "Precarious Mobilizations: A crip choreographer’s perspective in settling/unsettling/resettling" im Rahmen der HTA Lecture-Reihe "(Un)settled. Performance, protection and politics of insecurity" morgen Abend, 16. Dezember, ab 18.30 Uhr via Zoom seine eigene choreografische Position befragen und die Frage nach der Notwendigkeit einer breiteren choreografischen Praxis aufwerfen, die neue Formen der Bewegungsorganisation mit einbezieht.

Die Lecture-Reihe findet in Kooperation mit dem Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft der JLU Gießen, dem Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin (HZT), der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf und dem Künstlerhaus Mousonturm statt.

Drawing on Robert McRuer's "crip theory," choreographer, performer, and theorist Michael Turinsky will present "Precarious Mobilizations: A crip choreographer's perspective in settling/unsettling/resettling" as part of the HTA Lecture series "(Un)settled. Performance, protection and politics of insecurity" tomorrow evening, December 16 from 6.30 pm via Zoom. Turinsky will question his own choreographic position and raise the question of the need for a broader choreographic practice that incorporates new forms of movement organization.

The lecture series takes place in cooperation with the Institute for Applied Theater Studies at the JLU Giessen, the HZT - Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum für Tanz Berlin, the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm.
