Fürstenwalde art residence, project from PAS (Petersburg Art Space). Located in Brandenburg (50 km from Berlin or 30 minutes by train).
Launched in June 2022.

The uniqueness of the project is that it is built as a residence (pasbox) from mobile modules and at the same time works as a multifunctional environment during the production processes of pasbox.
The basic principle of construction is the use of standard sea containers as modules and the "up-cycling" technology.

For 6 months, the curator and the main builder of the residence - Sergey , in parallel with the work independently and together with other authors, creates interdisciplinary projects (“Up-cycled furniture”, “Sounds of up-cycling”), forms educational video content and conducts life- construction diary from already used materials/objects pre-prepared for reuse Now one of the 5 containers is at the final stage of finishing, a lot of garden and office furniture and functional things have been created (sheds, storage places, etc.) Sima takes over functions of a coordinator and content manager of the space, creates media content, finds residents, organizes life inside and its representation outside.
And also in FW there are musical events from the group "Somatik sound system"

📌 What you can do in FW right now:
⁃ attend musical, performative and artistic events, for this you need to follow the announcements of events on Instagram;
⁃ Offer your events for holding;
⁃ Rent a room at an affordable price in a residence;
⁃ Rent working hours in the workshop;
⁃ Rent a workshop or the interior of the residence for filming and holding any format of events;
⁃ Follow open calls and participate in our projects, come to internships and practices to exchange experience;
⁃ Discover regions remote from the centers and form interest in them through culture.
FW is being built as a mobile residence - it can be moved and rebuilt, creating new centers of cultural activity.

The darkest days of the year lie behind us, so come to celebrate the brighter days ahead! We have free food and wine to warm your souls, music and merry company to lift your spirits. Get creative with gingerbread, design cards for loved ones, and bless the trees with decorations in a tradition older than Christmas. Bring a little contribution (food or drink or a good joke), and we will all be the richer for it!

The winter solstice is a significant event in many cultures. It identifies the symbolic death and rebirth of the Sun; the waning of daylight is reversed and light begins to grow again. A hard winter lies ahead, but we have each other to see it through.

Under the open skies of Fürstenwalde, we will hold our own solstice celebration. Food and wine for everyone, music to fill the air, activities to while away the night, and roaring fires to light our faces. The program will begin at 19:00. More details will follow soon.

So come to PAS FW on the 22.12. and celebrate the light with us!

P.S., this event will be held at our new space in Fürstenwalde, not in Moabit 🙂

Dear All,

We are announcing an open call for the possibility to make a professional co-working photo and video studio near Ostkreuz, Berlin. The work would involve renovating the space, which can then be used for the artists involved. Another function for the space can also be suggested, however due to neighbours it cannot generate dust or noise.

The space is 27qm with a shared office / reception, kitchen and wc. The ceiling is 3m and the rent is 400 euros per month. The rental period can start on the 1.12.22.

- Personal information or information about your firm
- Your professional capabilities to do such a project
- Proposal for how to use the space: either how you envision to make the space into a professional photo or video studio, or a proposal for another function with the same details

The deadline for submissions is 25.11.22, it is possible to do viewings of the space between the 20-29th of November.
