Imagine explaining a meme to someone 3,000 years from now. 🪨 In Modern Archaeology, Kleinian turns digital imagery into stone artefacts, imagining what future civilisations might make of the things we spend our lives scrolling through.

What’s one thing from today’s internet that deserves to be fossilised? ↓

Some shoes finish an outfit. Others are the whole conversation. Clawed loafers, origami-inspired trainers and sneakers reimagined as heels: an Artleove edit of footwear that makes you look twice. A little strange, very considered. Which pair would you build an entire outfit around?

What do a monk and a marathon runner have in common? More than you might think: rhythm, discipline, focus and the ability to remain present.

Ahead of the Ladakh Marathon, PUMA India photographed 40 Buddhist monks at Leh’s historic Thiksey Monastery wearing NITRO Deviate PURE running shoes. Titled Meditation in Motion, the campaign is a striking reminder that stillness isn’t always about standing still.

Maybe doing nothing is not a waste of time. 🗣️ We live in a culture that has found a way to turn almost everything into work, our hobbies into side projects, our mornings into routines, our holidays into content, even rest into something we’re supposed to optimise. But some of the best ideas arrive when nothing is being demanded of us. Three hours disappearing without anything to show for it.

Boredom, idleness and doing absolutely nothing deserve a little more respect.

She turned fear into pattern, repetition into freedom, isolation into rooms entered by millions—and one dot into a universe.
Yayoi Kusama has died at the age of 97. Her passing was announced on 27 August, following her death in Tokyo on 14 August 2026.
Long before the pumpkins and Infinity Mirror Rooms became cultural phenomena, Kusama was using art to confront the hallucinations, anxieties and obsessions that had followed her since childhood. She did not wait until everything was healed before creating something extraordinary. She worked from inside it—day after day, for more than seven decades.
Perhaps that is her most enduring lesson: the things that haunt us can also become the beginnings of a language entirely our own.

For The Legacy Lives On, PUMA’s iconic cat is woven into richly patterned, hand-knotted rugs—placing global street culture inside the language of Indian craft.

The PUMA Suede was born on the street.
Jaipur Rugs was built around the looms of rural Rajasthan.
Now, two very different legacies find a common thread.

The collaboration centres the hands behind the work, with Jaipur Rugs’ artisans stitching the familiar PUMA silhouette directly into centuries-old weaving traditions.

The story culminates with Suede Sounds: a first-of-its-kind listening room inside a legendary Mumbai venue, accessible for one night only.

6 September · Mumbai
The location remains secret until your ticket reveals it.
Tickets via Urbanaut.

What if architecture could move with music? At Bangkok’s ASVIN , Octave Maze turns sound into physical motion. Created by Thai artist Wit Pimkanchanapong, the kinetic installation responds to live music through an intricate system of mechanisms and counterweights—becoming part instrument, part architecture and part performer.
For its second season, artists from Thailand and beyond have been invited to create new work in direct dialogue with the maze. Each Saturday brings a different experiment across electronic sound, traditional instruments, movement, improvisation and performance art.
Seen here: a technical test with Papanin K ahead of Across Molam Spectrum, a performance exploring the many dimensions of Molam music.

Octave Maze Live 2026
Every Saturday, 1 August–10 October
Asvin Cultural and Contemporary Art Space, Bangkok
