Milkshake Sessions #2: OIIA and Samaquias Lorta
Percussion sampling combined with virtual modular synths to create an ambient soundscape within an improvisational format. Samaquias developed a four-channel VCV patch that allows looping of various created synths alongside the MPE capabilities of the Roli Seaboard and cassette tape, both, as melodic voices. OIIA has a collection of handheld percussion gathered from all over the world to generate rhythmic patterns and harmonic transients giving dynamic range to his counterpart. Both students are on their third-year studying their degree in Electronic Music Performance and Production at dBs Music Berlin
