Our other exhibiting artist for our upcoming show ‘collapse’, opening on 30/6/18 is Liam Hardman. Liam provides the gallery with a permanent collection of furniture and wood-work pieces and for our next show he will be exhibiting 2 special pieces, including his signature half tree bench. The furniture really compliments Dario’s imagery and promises to tie the whole show together.

In deep thought - This is Dario Puggioni, we will be showing a special selection of his paintings and sculptures in our upcoming exhibition ‘collapse’.
Dario was born in Brunei and later studied at Rome’s academy of fine arts. He combines classical techniques such as chiaroscuro along with some surreal, contemporary imagery. His work is both haunting and beautiful.

Hardman Galerie would like to invite you to its latest show; ‘collapse’. The exhibition will feature paintings and sculptures by Dario Puggioni complimented by our permanent furniture collection by Liam Hardman for a unique and attractive experience. Sarah Ambrosi is a self-taught Italian photographer, installation artist, and poet. Living in Berlin for 15 years, she studied philosophy and German literature. As a photographer, Ambrosi explores the realm of the invisible in the visible, often by working on surface and texture. Her subjects vary from highly intimate, small objects to seemingly detached approaches to the landscapes that influenced her. Following her training as a philosopher, her photography questions the legitimacy of the author-artist while inducing a dialogue between the gaze of the spectator and the traces of translation that pervade in the work.

INTRODUCING SOLLAI CARTWRIGHT

Sollai Cartwright (born 1988) is an Australian sculptor and marble carver.
Cartwright’s body of work bases itself on the predominant idea of returning to nature.
The white Carrara marble with which he works is extracted from the earth and turned back into forms of natural grace and dignity. As in a meditative trance, Cartwright explores the transcendence of materials through time and the experience of free expression.
The artist has been invited to partake in the prestigious Art Central Hong Kong from March 27 – April 1 2018.
Cartwright has exhibited in China, Canada, Italy, England, Ireland, Australia, and Germany.

He works between Berlin, Melbourne, and Pietrasanta, Tuscany.
