Beloved Community- Dear Comrades,
this is an urgent call for support.
We are raising money for our friend & Sister at heart- Sarah*.
Sarah* is a BWoC and was brutally r***d and beaten up by her "ex" - a white NGO worker whom she trusted and who used his position of power against her.
As a result of the massive violence, her jaw and arm had to be set with several painful surgeries. We had to pay about 9000€ for this alone and related hospitalization.
With the help of many people in solidarity we were able to do this.
The German state illegalizes Sarah*. She has no legal residence, no access to health insurance or
health insurance or social welfare.
We, the self-organized and voluntary support team for Sarah* - 3 QBWOC - now urgently need financial support for Sarah* , -- for current living expenses like rent, but also therapy & for lawyer fees.
The latter have to be paid, because Sarah* has to have her name and accordingly all documents legally changed.
She would like to return to her country of origin, but there she is acutely threatened with persecution by her male relatives. Femincides are not uncommon in her home country and without a complete change of identity Sarah* would be in constant & continuous danger of her life.
Until that is accomplished, she simply cannot return.
But that is the only viable perspective for Sarah* to heal and build a new, independent life.
Currently we need about 6800€ for the mentioned costs.
Absolutely every amount that you can donate will help us enormously &.

Originally hailing from France, Pierre has made Berlin his creative playground, working in film, theatre, performance, and modelling.
🎥 In the realm of cinema, Pierre has graced the screen in Yann Gonzalez's "KNIFE + HEART" and Bruce La Bruce's "IT IS NOT THE PORNOGRAPHER THAT IS PERVERSE."
🎭 On stage, Pierre dives into immersive theatre with the Nilsson Eicke group in the production "DECAMERON" and .koeln ‘ "THE VALKYRIE."
🖼️ Notably, Pierre was also part of the exhibition "FENSTER ZUM KLO: PUBLIC TOILETS & PRIVATE AFFAIRS" by Marc Martin at the Schwules Museum in Berlin.
Currently, Pierre is on tour with the performance "THE ETHICS" by Matthieu Hocquemiller and is collaborating on an exciting new project.

🌟 Nicky is a Berlin-based genderq***r interdisciplinary artist specializing in film, performance art, and creative writing. Born in Paris, France, with Vietnamese origins, Nicky's work revolves around LGBTQ+ s*xualities and identities.
🎥 Their award-winning short films have been screened at numerous international Q***r film festivals, including Pink Lips, Fisherman, Lemon Taste, Romance, P**n Warriors, Happy Valentine Day!, and Oh!Socks. Q***rdos Kollektiv is hiring a Producer/Production Manager for our 3rd annual ACTing Up Summer Camp in Moldova! This is a paid position starting in June 2023.
We are looking for someone with experience in project organisation and community theatre, as well as excellent organisational skills and a driver's license (knowledge of Romanian or Russian is a plus but not required).
At Q***rdos, we are committed to diversity and inclusion. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and identities, including but not limited to BIPOC, trans and non-binary individuals, and people with disabilities.

Our voices and stories have been silenced or co-opted, and our contributions have been undervalued or erased. And yet, we persist. We create, innovate, challenge, and we inspire! We carve out our own spaces and communities as we mentor and uplift the next generation of LGBTQIA+ makers, and we demand to be seen and heard on our own terms. Today, we honour the resilience, creativity, vision, and humanity of q***r siblings on stage and behind the stage, past and present. We are so blessed to be showing the result of our second year endeavor in Moldova with the Q***rdos ACTing UP programme and we miss so much the beautiful and q***r souls which brought this piece to life.

The time for q***r potentialities
Which are the politics of the dissident body/identity and how can they be safely reflected in public space? How can we as LGBTQIA+ individuals (re)claim our forgotten or eradicated histories and (re)instate their place in everyday life? Between religion, politics, history and public life we encounter our q***r identities battling for visibility and safety. No longer will we be constricted to bedroom politics. We will wait for no hero. Only we can lead ourselves towards collective q***r liberation.

The healthy dose of q***rness the Open Out Festival Tromsø has given us! A few weeks back, we took to the Norwegian north to spread our holy q***r gospel onto the fjords.
𝒜𝐵𝒪𝒰𝒯 𝒯𝐻𝐸 𝒫𝑅𝒪𝒥𝐸𝒞𝒯:
ᴛʜᴇ Qᴜᴇᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴍᴏᴍᴇɴᴛ: ᴅᴇᴄᴏɴꜱᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪɴɢ ɪᴅᴇɴᴛɪᴛɪᴇꜱ ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ ᴅʀᴀɢ ᴘᴇʀꜰᴏʀᴍᴀɴᴄᴇ is part of a triptych of workshops designed by artist Cat Jugravu in close collaboration with Q***rdos. It aims at bringing q***r and non-q***r identities under the roof of creativity, exploration and collaboration.
Therefore it is open to everyone regardless of background, age, experience, s*xuality or gender identity. We hope to open up a temporary community space for exploring and sharing gender-critical creative visions and performative ideas. It includes a one week drag&performance workshop and artist talk, introducing different types of drag and the socio-political importance of drag performance art.
ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ Qᴜᴇᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴍᴏᴍᴇɴᴛ, ᴀꜱ ᴡᴇ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀꜱᴛᴀɴᴅ ɪᴛ:
The q***ring moment is made out of chaos and collective trance originating from ancestral body memory. It is preceded by recognizing the autonomy of the individual q***r experience and followed by the openness towards a joint transmission of vibration and knowledge. It is a doing rather than a being. It engages introspection through motor synchronization to enhance intra-group cohesion and communication in social contexts (q***r and non-q***r).

We are all familiar with grief in one way or another. Although "we've all done it" might seem facetious and an easy bonding element, with FEIRG, we want to inquire if the q***r body and mind experiences grief similarly or all upside-down, inside-out, q***r-ed, messy, dirty. We want to approach grief not only through the lens of the death of a loved one but also generated by losing oneself, a community or safe space, and the q***r mind dealing with instability, doubt and insanity.

For the second year running, we are ready to dive into a one-week immersive experimental session in which we inquire into the meaning of Q***r Ecologies: the proposal of theories in which a q***r community can sustain and nourish itself through its own set of rules and practices. We seek to find techniques of collective healing in the nature that surrounds us, and in doing so reclaim nature as a q***r concept.
After a long period of isolation followed by tremors of uncertainty and disarray, how are we able to rise up and give meaning to our q***r existence? How do we re-gather and form a community? Is the possibility of meaning to be found through the communion of voices? Let us gather in numbers to grow and rebuild our q***r bodies, in dissonance and in struggle, forming our own Q***r Ecology of healing through embodiment of memory, choral practices, and individual transformation.
Q***rdos ACTing UP is a free performance summer camp open to all q***r-, inter-/trans-, and gender-nonconforming people. Everyone identifying as LGBTQIA+ who is interested or invested in the arts, performance and music is encouraged to apply. We are open to participants based in Moldova and those currently fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

QUEERDOS is a transdisciplinary performative ensemble focusing on initiating discourses and dialogues in the frame of an LGBTQI+ narrative. By engaging in theatrical work using mainly spoken word with various artists belonging to q***r minorities in Berlin and other cities where q***r politics are often ignored or looked down upon, we hope to promote acceptance and understanding on a larger scale; to utilize its great potential for impact.
Challenging gender binaries (male/female) and exposing the social coercion at the base of the performative nature of identity is already a political act, but Q***rdos aims at transcending beyond, through daring performances that mirror social or political misconduct, thus becoming an incentive towards proactive attitudes. Subjects such as abuse, trans and homophobia, racism, and xenophobia are very often addressed in our performances. We are aiming towards creating a platform for free speech and artistic expression in the q***r community, emphasising tolerance, integration and awareness in/of our ever growing environment. Spoken word as a performance lightens up the sometimes hard-to-digest political contexts through the usage of elements (singing, dancing, spoken word, stand-up comedy etc) which can reach a mixed audience.
Q***rdos aims at bringing the community of what society deems as ‘misfits’ together in a safe space for expression and learning.

Mulțumim echipei Q***rdos ca au venit cu propunerea de a face acest atelier de 7 zile pentru comunitatea ***r din Moldova, iar noi cu drag am acceptat să implementăm proiectului.
Ne încurajează faptul că există interes din partea comunității de a se implica, iar prin acest atelier sperăm să contribuim la împuternicirea atitudinii persoanelor ***r din Moldova.

last saturday we demonstrated in front of the polish institution and we are more than thankful for all those who showed up against poland declaring LGBT freezones!

Cat Jugravu from Q***rdos wrote and performed heartwarming and beautiful poem.
Yesterday was a great demonstration of solidarity with our q***r family in Poland. The attacks of right-wing politicians, extremists and the Catholic church against what they call "LGBT ideology" have to stop! As Monika Tichy from Lambda Szczecin said "We are not ideology, we are human people".
Thanks to Florian Filtzinger for organizing, and to ENOUGH is ENOUGH - OPEN YOUR MOUTH, CSD Berlin - Berlin Pride, Q***rdos, All Out, Travestie für Deutschland and many other for supporting! We are looking forward to find ways to support or Polish friends during pride season and beyond.
