In den zwei schönen Kinosälen werden alle Filme in der Originalfassung und meist mit deutschen Untertiteln gezeigt, vor allem viele Independentfilme in englischer oder französischer Sprache. Am Tresen gibt es alles, was man für einen gelungenen Kinoabend braucht, und die Wartezeit bis zum Filmanfang kann man auf der gemütlichen Terrasse bei einem Glas Weißwein verbringen.

Nach 40 Jahren ist der Studio Ghibli Film von Isao Takahata endlich im deutschen Kino zu sehen: Eine bewegende Geschichte über den Zusammenhalt zweier Geschwister, die in den letzten Wochen des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Japan zu Waisen werden und sich gemeinsam voller Kreativität und krimineller Energie durchs Leben schlagen.
