// MARTIN EDER

Three weeks ago, we opened the new exhibition by Martin Eder called "Phantasma" at our gallery space in Leipzig. Maeshelle West-Davis of the The Leipzig Glocal wrote a great article about the show, below you can find the link to read it! Thanks for the encouraging words.

https://leipglo.com/2021/04/29/martin-eder-phantasma-and-fairy-dust/

"Phantasma" from Martin Eder is no less than fairy dust. Exquisitely painted, the figures playfully beckon and you don't want to resist.

// TIM EITEL

Today, we are opening the new solo show by Tim Eitel at our gallery space in Berlin. The title of the exhibition "Vie imaginaire, chapitre II: Ensemble" refers to the last exhibition by the artist at Galerie EIGEN + ART Berlin in 2018. One the one hand, this current show could be understood again as an autofiction, but at the same time the focus lies on the interaction between people; this latter aspect is deeply interwoven with the current situation concerning the pandemic.
You can book an appointment via our homepage to visit the new artworks, we would be glad to show you around. The exhibition will be on view until June 5, 2021.

Mai 2021.

// MALTE BARTSCH

Today, the EIGEN + ART Lab is opening a new solo exhibition by the artist Malte Bartsch, called "Investment". The show culminates five groups of works, each of them questioning the impact of the growing neoliberal pressure of self-optimization which eats into every area of life. At the same time, this present is characterized by commodities which are decoupled from their real values. The question therefore is: Investing time in what?
The exhibition runs from April 15 - May 15, 2021.

// MARTIN EDER

Today, we are opening the new solo exhibition "Phantasma" by Martin Eder (Ruin Martin Eder) in our gallery in Leipzig. In his works made for this exhibition, Eder presents possible and unreal worlds, coming from the unconscious and therefore refers to the question what reality means. In opening up a mythology of everyday life, Martin Eder disturbs the viewer and the so called "reality" and shows us a surreal secondary realm, a sensual senselessness, an uncanny world.
You can book an appointment via our homepage to visit the exhibition! It will be on view until May 29, 2021.
