SURVIVAL ist nach CUT, HUNGER und ESCAPE das Thema des Internationalen Performance Art Festivals, welches vom 29. Zum vierten Mal bietet das Festival, eine Koproduktion von Open Space Berlin und den BLO-Ateliers, eine Plattform für über 60 Berliner und internationale KünstlerInnen. Kuratiert von Michael Steger zeigt das im multikulturelle Berlin stattfindendes Festival was Performance Art ausmacht: spontane Kreativität, Konfrontation, Experimente, kurz: KünstlerInnen in Echtzeit. Zu den Highlights, welche erstmalig in unserem Festivalprogramm 2014 zu sehen sind, zählen die Gruppenperformances von The Digital Dramaturgy Lab der Universität von Toronto mit ihrer Dauerperformance "Stare. Aus Dänemark haben sich Ingrid Kristensen und Ensemble mit der Performance "Esperanza" angekündigt. For the fourth time, the festival, a co-production of Open Space Berlin and the BLO-Ateliers, provides a platform for over 60 Berlin and international artists. Curated by Michael Steger, the multicultural festival in Berlin shows what constitutes performance art: spontaneous creativity, confrontation, experiments, in short: artists in real time. The Highlights to be seen for the first time in our festival program in 2014 include the group performances by The Digital Dramaturgy Lab of the University of Toronto with their durational performance "Stare. Ingrid Kristensen and Ensemble from Denmark have announced their performance "Esperanza."
