Hello I'm Liz, I just finished 3 years of studying sustainability and adaptation, but wow there are so many paths within sustainability - and today I was reading from the .psychology.alliance and reflecting on how much thinking and practice is shaped by the industrial mindset. I grew up in this, where we were treated as rational, self‑interested, optimisable units. I'm still trying to optimise myself half the time! I'd like to say I think regeneratively, try to act in a way that's relational. But looking for meaning plus earning a living constantly involves trying to adapt and create within the existing status quo. I know this crisis we face is huge, that climate breakdown is here, I feel like I need to run, but that I'm constantly tripping up. I'm still figuring out where to direct energy. Can you relate?

I like the culture of planting around the bottom of street trees in Berlin. When most people don't have much outdoor space at home some put that care into the public realm - and it makes me happy to see it

Went on a date with (ok solo date - to see Marty Supreme) - thrilling to be back in and it had me nostalgic for landlines and Berlin summers. That creative / destructive urge for recognition is good cinematic fuel. I would like to extend that yearly .de subscription but someone needs to employ me first!!

What a strange but fun place . The made zeppelins here now it's where Berliners escape the winter.

All I can think about is - how many air changes per hour? - how much does it cost to heat? Are the acoustics too bad for a music festival?
