Hello all,
ES hopes you're all doing as well as to be expected in the current situation. We're taking the time to look to the future and come up with inew deas for shows, however, we cannot begin to imagine any sort of production without our beloved Monster Ronson's Ichiban Karaoke. Berlin is Berlin because of the glorious independently run venues and spaces and these have been greatly affected by the closure of clubs and bars, and they are sinking. Ronson's is our home and has allowed us to grow as artists and producers. But it's not just us that would be greatly affected if Ronson's was no more. Gieza Poke's House and PANSY's House of Presents contribute more than can be expressed to the q***r community here in the city. "Jews, Jews, Jews" by Lo**ta Va Voom and Nana Schewitz repeatedly offer up heaping platters of performers from all walks of life and the divine The Shimmy Shake Berlin Burlesque School allow newcomers to step onto one of the most exciting stages in the city, producing amazing burlesque shows time and time again. Not to forget all the wonderful staff who put on karaoke parties night after night after night.
What do we all have in common? MONSTER RONSON'S. Its our haven, our home, our safe space and our party of choice. If you have ever stepped foot inside and had a night to remember, then please donate what you can to keep them afloat.
