I’m happy to see Peter Hammill playing in Padua tonight. I listened to his music up and down in the 70s and 80s, starting with the VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR albums. Exactly 40 years ago I was able to get an autograph from him when he was at the EMI studios in Cologne, where I was currently working as an assistant. Together with Giorgio, my hi-fi dude in town, I will enjoy this evening.
