We’re excited to welcome Diaz Brothers from Sunderland, UK, on May 24, who will be visiting us for the third time. Also joining the lineup is Litbarski who will just have returned from their Finland tour. We’re really looking forward to this great evening!

In Münster, they’re also playing with Litbarski the show is being hosted by Ze Schultofrom Palma, who were our guests just a few weeks ago with Steakknife
In Saarbrücken, Diaz Brotherswill be playing with Trust Issues at Karate Klub Meier the bar owned by Steakknifebassist Helge. We had a great night with Trust Issueslast year. The ties go much further, but who wants to read all that?
Everyone helps everyone else. No competition, no business bu****it. That’s what punk is all about!

Here are finally the photos of last Saturday! What an awesome night! Palma were amazing, and Steakknife really set the stage on fire!

We’re looking forward to a very special double bill: On April 18, we’ll be welcoming Steakknife and Palma to our Punkkeller.

Steakknife from Saarbrooklyn has been around forever, but their live performances have become rarer in recent years. So it’s all the more wonderful that the band around singer Lee Hollis is making its way to Kreuzberg this year.

Palma from punk rock city Münster are still pretty new and sound wonderfully fresh. It’s been a long time since we’ve heard a band that rocks out with such ease and enthusiasm. Palma were supposed to play here last year. Now it’s finally happening! We’re excited!

There’s really nothing more to say, as always: Come along and have a good time! Meet old friends and make new ones!

Wir freuen uns auf ein ganz besonderes Doppelpack: Am 18. April begrüßen wir in unserem Punkkeller Steakknife und Palma.

Steakknife aus Saarbrooklyn gibt es schon ewig, Liveauftritte sind in den letzten Jahren jedoch seltener geworden. Umso schöner, dass die Band um Sänger Lee Hollis dieses Jahr ihren Weg nach Kreuzberg findet.

Palma aus Punkrock-City Münster sind noch ziemlich neu und klingen wunderbar frisch. Lange nicht mehr eine Band gehört, die mit einer derartigen Leichtigkeit und Spielfreude auf die Zwölf haut. Palma sollten schon letztes Jahr bei uns spielen. Jetzt endlich hat es geklappt! Wir freuen uns!

We had an absolutely amazing evening with WASABI RIOT and INNOCENT BLISS!
INNOCENT BLISS delivered a sensational first show with their original special line-up and WASABI RIOT were a blast. Both bands were outstanding!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this evening possible!

On March 20, we welcome WASABI RIOT and INNOCENT BLISS!

WASABI RIOT swing the soul! At the end of last year, the punk rock supergroup (Tackleberry, Katzenstreik, Affenmesserkampf) released their new album, “Trans Rosa“. It's a thrilling record that draws on hardcore and post-punk and leads straight to the heart of the band‘s political stance. This is the band's first show in Berlin ever! Is that true? We don't know, but it sounds good!

INNOCENT BLISS surprise us with a special line-up. Actually, the special line-up is the normal line-up, but the band has never played with the normal line-up before. So the normal line-up is the unusual line-up and therefore the special line-up. This is the first show where you can see INNOCENT BLISS as they sound on their recordings, namely with overlapping personnel with WASABI RIOT. Sounds complicated – and it is! But once you understand it all, it makes perfect sense. So just take it easy and let everything unfold.

Wir begrüßen am 20. März WASABI RIOT und INNOCENT BLISS!

WASABI RIOT swingen den Soul! Ende letzten Jahres kam mit "Trans Rosa" das neue Album der Punkrock-Supergroup (Tackleberry, Katzenstreik, Affenmesserkampf) heraus. Eine packende Platte die sich aus Hardcore und Post-Punk bedient und die politische Haltung der Band auf den Punkt bringt. Zum ersten mal live in Berlin! Ob das stimmt? Man weiß es nicht, aber klingt doch gut!

INNOCENT BLISS überraschen mit einem Special Line-Up. Eigentlich ist das Special Line-Up das ganz normale Line-Up, doch in dem normalen Line-Up hat die Band bisher noch nicht gespielt. Also ist das normale Line-Up das ungewöhnliche Line-Up und somit das Special Line-Up. Es ist also die erste Show in der man INNOCENT BLISS sehen kann, wie man sie auf ihren Aufnahmen hört, nämlich in personeller Überschneidung mit WASABI RIOT. Klingt kompliziert - ist es auch! Aber wenn man es erstmal alles verstanden hat macht es total Sinn. Also einfach mal alles in Ruhe auf sich zukommen lassen!

On 14 February, we look forward to hosting KIDS OF THE BLACK HOLE and FORKED.

KIDS OF THE BLACK HOLE from Hanover started in 2006. Countless shows followed until suddenly, in 2012, it was all over. In 2024, they started up again. Good decision! We also have the band in very good memory. So würde ich das eher sagen. It's great that they're continuing now!

FORKED is a brand new band coming to our basement. The four members met in Portugal 15 years ago, but didn't form FORKED until 2024 and have since been stranded in Warsaw, Szczecin and Berlin. In 2025, the band delivered an impressive demo that is definitely worth listening to!
Two really great bands and a great combination!

Oh, and by the way, 14 February is not only Valentine's Day, but also the 2nd anniversary of Plus1Shows.
Two years, 19 shows, 36 bands from Germany, the USA, the UK, Poland and Austria. But who's counting?! Every one of these shows was a blast!

Am 14. Februar freuen wir uns auf KIDS OF THE BLACK HOLE und FORKED.

KIDS OF THE BLACK HOLE aus Hannover gibt es seit 2006. Es folgten unzählige Shows bis dann 2012 plötzlich Schluss war. 2024 ging’s mit einem Mal wieder los. Gute Entscheidung! Auch uns ist die Band in ausgezeichneter Erinnerung geblieben. Toll, dass es jetzt weitergeht!

Mit FORKED kommt eine noch ganz frische Band zu uns in den Keller. Vor 15 Jahren haben sich die vier in Portugal getroffen, haben aber erst 2024 FORKED gegründet und sind mittlerweile in Warschau, Szczecin und Berlin gestrandet. 2025 hat die Band ein beeindruckendes Demo abgeliefert, dass man sich unbedingt anhören sollte!
Zwei wirklich großartige Bands und eine tolle Kombi!

Achso ... am 14. Februar ist übrigens nicht nur Valentinstag, sondern wir von Plus1Shows haben außerdem 2 jähriges Jubiläum.
2 Jahre, 19 Shows, 36 Bands aus Deutschland, USA, UK, Polen und Österreich. Aber wer wird das schon zählen?! Jeder dieser Abende hat irre Spaß gemacht!

The year is off to a great start! On 17 January, we will be hosting Saarbrücken's finest: Trust Issues. In 2022, these old hands put out a strong debut. In 2024, they followed up with something even stronger, and in 2025, they released an amazing split EP with Tag/Ohne/Schatten. Catchy, edgy and noisy! A great band that we are really looking forward to seeing!

Also on board are Innocent Bliss, who played their tape release show with us last February. Awesome hardcore as it should be: fast, political, angry, DIY!
