Yesterday’s Monday workshop with Thomas Lange, founder of the Resonanzlehre, focused on exploring three-dimensionally balanced, centred, and musical movements. The workshop opened new perspectives on coordination and the subtle connection between body and sound.

Yesterday’s Monday Workshop with 😎

Nico Holonics – actor, lecturer at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin, and founder of the – has developed a unique approach that fosters a holistic, dynamic way of presenting and helps counteract performance anxiety.
In his workshop, he created a supportive environment that encouraged to share and step forward.

We are delighted to share that Lorenzo Messina, scholarship holder at the Karajan-Akademie, has won the position of Second flute and Piccolo with the Berliner Philharmoniker. 🥳 Congratulations! 👏👏

We were incredibly grateful that Christophe Horák, principal of the second violins of the Berliner Philharmoniker, stepped in at short notice to perform Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat major at last night’s concert with the Karajan-Akademie. For health reasons, Janine Jansen was unfortunately unable to perform and sent her sincere regrets.

Our scholarship holder Josephine Chung performed the first violin part in Shostakovich’s Two Pieces for String Octet, op. 11. The evening concluded with Bartók’s Divertimento for String Orchestra, Sz 113, conducted by Simon Rössler, with Tsukushi Sasaki on first violin. 👏👏

Thank you to everyone who made this concert possible, and to everyone who came along to enjoy it. 🎻✨

Mozart: Horn Quintet in E-flat major KV 407
Vivaldi: Piccolo Concerto in C major RV443
Boccherini: Sonata for two Cellos in G major G15
Crusell: Concert trio for Clarinet, Horn and Bassoon
Mozart: Clarinet Quintet in A major KV581

With our musicians Felix Brunnenkant (cello), Rachel Buquet (violin), Yeji Cho (horn), Oskar Chodora (bassoon), Tonio Comesaña (clarinet), Constantin Heise (cello), Jimin Jang (viola), Takehiro Konoe (viola), Lorenzo Messina (piccolo flute), Saki Tozawa (violin) and Kaori Tsujita (violin). Accompanied by Julia Stephan at the piano.

Our Monday workshop this week with Olaf Zorn, founder of running success, was focused on health prevention for musicians. 🏋️‍♀️💪
Together we worked on:
- Functional strength for a resilient posture
- Stable core and shoulder control
- Improved mobility
- Practical exercises that can easily be integrated into daily routines

Monday workshop with Thomas Chemnitz, member of the improv theatre . 🎭🦍

During the improv training, our musicians explored imagination techniques to deal with nervousness, create something out of every moment, and build a stronger presence – on and off stage.
