New season, who dis? 🎭
Our beautiful chaos collective reunites every now and then for table reads and Stammtisch hangouts that somehow take us three business days to choose.
Here are some moments from the past year. We can’t wait to make new work and share what’s next ✨

Shakespeare: Reloaded e.V. will hold a 6-week workshop, beginning in November 2024.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as people with some acting experience and will focus on important foundations such as:

📚 step by step character development
👟 Physicality exploration, body movement
🎭 Modern and shakespeare text approach
🛠️ Enhance your improvisation skill
🎤 Finding your unique acting voice

⚡️Special edition: 1x session about Theatre Productions in Berlin (all the things you want to know, when planning a production) ⚡️

And that all with our understanding of theatre by Shakespeare Reloaded.

Everyone is welcome. English speaking is mandatory. Attending all dates is recommended to get the full experience and knowledge.

“I couldn’t be more proud to make my debut performance in “The House of Bernada Alba”. I sometimes feel as if I was literally built for the role of Pepe El Romano, the elusive figure who causes so much commotion amongst the female characters. Working with this excellent cast and crew has been a real pleasure. I have felt respected at all times in the rehearsal room and I’m excited for audiences to see the production come see us from 25th to 28th of July!”

“Being part of this production has been an absolute delight! I’ve wanted to do a play for a while now and doing. “The house of Bernarda Alba”, a very woman-centred story as my first one has been a dream come true. This production features so many talented people on stage and behind the scenes and it’s amazing to see everything coming together after this rehearsal period.”

MAGDALENA played by Natalia Stolyarchuk.
“Magdalena sees herself as the oldest “real” sister and feels responsible for protecting the younger ones. She remembers the family’s best days when their parents were in love and life was joyful. Hoping for normalcy, she denies the obvious and is heartbroken by a chain of unfortunate events. Exploring her past and connecting with her feelings is exciting for me. As she tries to be a glue in the family that is falling apart, I get to understand each character and their relationship with Magdalena - and that is the most rewarding part of being on this show for me.”

“Playing the villain is always fun - finding the humanity in her though has been my greatest pleasure. It’s been over five years since I was on stage not on the other end of a puppet and it is an absolute joy to be working alongside all these incredibly lovely and committed ladies. Being able to stage a classic in a new way has been incredibly eye opening and really exciting proof that old text can be just as relevant today as it was in 1945. I am so lucky to be portraying everyone’s favorite angry mother in a whole new way.“

“Putting a drama on stage with some comical elements is an exciting journey. Lorca’s classic play about the tyrannical mother and her opppressed daughters in a suffocating environment gets a tragicomical twist in this new adaptation. Angustias is a spinster who shows the mood swings of a teenager, and she is a wannabe rebel, who remains pretty obedient though. It is a great challenge to shape her character beyond cliches and fee her real motivations and naive hopes. Our team is absolutely lovely, and bursts with creativity which enables us to be bold and playful.”

“Playing Martirio is a fun ride. It’s challenging but exciting. There are parts of me that relate to her and some parts of me that don’t, but that’s what makes it challenging and exciting. It’s always surprising to learn you things about her and to play with it.
Being part of this cast. has been one of the greatest experiences so far. All these women coming together to create this new rendition of Lorcas classic. It’s a great opportunity for all of us.
I can’t wait for people to see what we’ve been working on for months now.“

LA PONCIA, played by Marijana Krstic.
“I am thrilled to work on this interpretation of Lorca’s play The House of Bernarda Alba and bring a unique perspective and compelling storytelling to life. We have dedicated significant effort to understanding and interpreting the script and delving deeply into the characters, allowing us to convey the story authentically. I particularly enjoyed preparing for the role of La Poncia, a character who challenges the established narrative and isn’t that different from Bernarda Alba despite her family background. This dynamic adds a fascinating layer to the production that I am eager to bring to the stage.”

“Being a part of The House of Bernarda Alba is the most fun I have had in theatre. I absolutely adore my character; Adela is all the parts of me I never show because I’m such a people pleaser. It’s fun getting to play someone that behaves in a way you wouldn’t dare in real life. On top of that, the ensemble is incredible to work with. The silliest goofiest people have come together to put something on stage. Getting to work in an ensemble of women has created the most comfortable creative space. I feel exactly the kind of freedom that every artist wants to feel.”
