My personal experience as a woman tells me there is a lot to be done still about this topic.
And I want to point here directly to the tekno scene, wich I realize has not manage to break down basic things we have been fighting for to change like the traditional roles and the rigid gender-based stereotypes, for example.
Being a subculture that calls out for a different way to organize our selves, the tekno scene is still not a safe place for many genders to expres themselves, still not a place for finding safe sexuality and conscious exchange and, while being able to create amazing stuff as a collectivity, it is still missing a lot of self responsability and self care.
This is not the way I imagined my utopia and the tekno proposal is still oppressing me as a woman.
