Desmata is the death of the planet’s last tree; Desmata is the last gorilla, the last chimpanzee, the last orangutan, the last woolly monkey trying to save—to embrace, to cling to—a tree that is already dead inside, even while retaining some of its greenery and foliage.

A time when everything seemed to be possible and the future created anew. We have a repertoire of “graphic scores” that ask the performers to create music in real time, partially improvising, partially open to new and unexpected influences.

Join us for our mini-festival to experience what happens when we discard expectations about how to perform music or what “counts” as correct or “real” music.

Anne, Anne.

📆 17 & 18 JUNI, 20:00

🗣️ Im Anschluss vertieft ein Gespräch die Themen Mutterschaft, Klimakrise, Demokratie und die Bedingungen künstlerischer Arbeit in Zeiten von Repression und Kürzungen.

Your humanity is incomplete — but don’t worry, we’re here to optimize it.

In this workshop performance, transformation becomes obligation, self-improvement turns ritual, and “becoming human” is reduced to a set of precise, bureaucratically approved steps.
