Friday in Flensburg: digging for records and discovering new sounds. In between, enjoying the local food and the North Sea breeze. 🎶🌊
I had a proper crate-digging session at Musik Palast in Flensburg. This independent record shop has been welcoming music lovers since 1989, and I left with a stack of rare finds for my DJ case: funk, soul, groove, disco, and more. 💿🎶
I also visited Helligåndskirken, a historic Lutheran church dating back to 1386. I’m Catholic, but I stepped inside and took a moment to pray. Different traditions, shared faith and reflection.
A taste of Flensburg’s maritime history: I tried the Original Flensburger Fischsuppe, known as the “Bouillabaisse of the North.” Made with plenty of fish and seafood, it follows a house recipe that’s more than 136 years old. A true local classic, rich in flavor and tradition. ⚓️🍲
